Not "Old School" Quality
First, I would not call this a true bateau neckline; which should be a narrower, longer cut at neck between the shoulders.
Secondly, the cinch was hard to manipulate and only in the front (not in the back)! That being said not flattering for a bigger belly. It was accentuating a long with the side ties.
Lastly, the fabric didn't feel quality. It would be nice and light for summer but I believe this top way overpriced (even on sale). Looks more like a top I'd find at TJ Maxx than EF. Sorry Eileen, just telling my truth.
Gave stars because I like the built in cinch idea but execution just wasn't there.

Perfect summer top, light weight, flattering, and comfortable. Only four stars as I wish I didn’t have to wear a cami underneath on those extra humid days.

Fighting the wrinkles
I love everything about this top. The fit, the versatility of making it more fitted or boxy, the sleeve length hits at a good spot on my arm (about and inch below my elbow), the neckline isn’t too wide, it just feels good! My only complaint is that it wrinkles so quickly. I don’t like a super heavy linen, but this gets wrinkled putting it on and I feel a little disheveled in no time. But I love the fit and the way it feels so I’ll keep wearing it and will likely buy it in black, too!

A wrinkle/free linen top?
This top is generously cut yet still stylish. Because of this it doesn’t wrinkle like most linen shirts without looking like maternity wear
