All Season Pants
Great pants! Bought the Bayleaf color in my usual M size. Fit is perfect for my 5’4”, 160 lb. body. Haven’t washed them yet, so can’t report on that. They seem very much a “4 season” pant, depending on the accompanying top…anything from Tee shirts to sweaters. My EF sales associate ordered the matching jacket for me, since they didn’t have it in stock. I sized down to Small on the jacket, and it is perfect. Looks great with the pants, but also goes well with other EF pants.

Utility = Stiff.
The fabric, for me, is too stiff for comfort. Was looking for a comfy cool cotton pant in my favorite Nile for travel Apart from Nile none of your current summer colours suit fair skins and old red heads, me!! All models have dark hair. I have worn EF exclusively for decades. Very disappointing.

Just pants
When it said "utility cotton", I was expecting a smooth feel and basic tabby weave. They are a twill instead, with a slight roughness to the hand. I am a bit disappointed. Otherwise, they are just ordinary pants, no particular style. Thankfully, no elastic waist, and they do have pockets. I will wear them. They fit, which is my primary reason for buying EF clothes. A larger selection of colors would be helpful.

Utility Cotton Tapered Pant
About sizing, my thought is if you are at the upper end range of your size, think about sizing up. If at the lower end, stay with your usual size. These pants are not forgiving. I'm hoping mine shrink a bit and may actively attempt that if a regular wash and dry don't do the job. Fabric itself appears to be good, and the overall design looks 'utilitarian'.
