Great fit, but the collar is very scratchy
I was a little surprised by this Top because I own quite a bit of Eileen Fisher. The fabric for the body of the top is lovely. The fit is just as expected, no problem there. The color is exactly what you see on the screen. The heft of the fabric is very nice, but that ribbed neck line is stiff and scratchy and quite uncomfortable. If the neck line or collar or mock turtleneck, whatever you wanna call it, was made similarly to the body of the garment. It would be a wonderful top. I laundered it, hoping the the collar would soften. It didn’t. And now that I’ve laundered it I don’t think I can return it. I have toyed with the idea of cutting the caller off and just creating a raw, rolled edge neck line for it, but I haven’t done that yet. I have never been disappointed by anything I purchased from Eileen Fisher. I have also never received anything from Eileen Fisher that was uncomfortable. I suppose there is a first time for everything.
