The material was lovely but the shorts in size Petite Small did not fit well on my 5'5" 121 lb body.

Full short
These are a full short that falls just above knee. The jersey fabric hangs nicely and its fullness makes it a great hot/humid weather choice. Very comfortable. I feel like I can wear these shorts out and about while still feeling put together. Most shorts I relocate to my yard.

Simply Awful Looking
I was excited to order these shorts and when I received them and tried them on, I was once again disgusted by EFs version of PL pants/shorts. They were huge and way too long for a 5'2" petite person. I typically wear a PL in EF pants and usually don't have issues. These shorts are just sloppy looking. The rise on these shorts for a PL is 12.5 inches with a 7.5 inch inseam. Just because I'm PL, does not equate to these being so high wasted that they sit just under my bra. EF does not make as many slacks anymore with nice waist bands. The waist band on these is so cheap looking instead of it being a nice, wider and flat band like the fine jersey slacks in this same fabric

Love, love these shorts
I really did not think these would look good after reading some negative comments. I love these soft, wide, drapey shorts. It is the perfect length for my petite body. And they look great with all my other EFisher separates.

I have two pair of these and wear one most days in the summer. I have the extra pair for when the other is in the laundry. They are so comfortable and flattering. A classic look. The was and air dry beautifully. I air dry almost all of my clothes.
