gorgeous color but a wide cut.
I got this jacked in an XXSmall. Beautiful color red and nice rutching. The length was fine. But I found it too wide, too much material for someone my size (I wear Petite Petite or Petite small in EF clothes).

A winter vest that makes you cosy.
The best thing about this vest is the high and warm collar. It works well under a loose coat and also over a shirt in the house. As most of my clothes are black, the red vest gives me a happy pop of color.

Sadly, fabrication defect … or altered?
I was so excited to order this puffer vest in Red Poppy. I have the same shirred design puffer in black from a number of years ago, which I love. I was so frustrated when it arrived today, only to find that it has a construction defect. One side of the closure isn’t straight at the hemline. It angles off noticeably, and also has an odd bulge created by what appears to be a dart on the inside, which causes it to pop outward. My black vest has no such dart on the interior at the hem, and I can think of no reason why they should have changed the construction. This odd dart/bulge is on both sides of the hemline, although it only pops outward and isn’t straight on one side. It makes me wonder if someone ordered this, altered it, and then decided that it wasn’t successful and returned it. I recognize that’s a long shot, but barring that, this is just a poorly finished piece.
I was hoping to order a replacement, but when I went online, it’s now sold out. This isn’t what I expect of Eileen Fisher. So very disappointed … were there no construction issues, I’d love this.

Nice vest but too large
This is a stylish vest. I ordered a large, my usual size for EF. But this vest was much too wide and the armholes were too large. I have a current jacket in the same ruched style which is perfect. If you are interested in this vest perhaps order a size down.

Pretty but too much fabric
This is a very pretty jacket. I bought red in xxs but unfortunately had to return it. There was just too much of it, especially around the hips, for my petite frame. (I am usually an EF PP.) I am 5'1, 103 pounds and 81 for reference.

Love ALL my vests.
Refreshing to have something other than black! Wren is a soft brown with a bit of sheen. Nicely shaped;I bought Medium and I am 4’10” and 135lbs. Usually wear a petite large—-this vest runs large and I might have been able to wear a small in regular sizes. I have not worn it yet but have tried it over sweatshirts and sweaters. I DO want it a bit big so did not exchange to see if size small would work. I still wear my old EF black puffer from several years ago. And I bought the reversible vest in black that is lighter weight. I live in vests!

Best vest ever!
I wear a lot of vests in the winter and this one is the best. It is soft, has flannel lined pockets, looks classy and is warmer than most. It has covered snaps which allow you to snap it up or keep in open with blouses and sweaters underneath. I absolutely love it!

Bulky unflattering fit
I ordered this vest in two different sizes (Sm and Med) and in two different colors (Wren and Poppy Red). I had hoped to keep both or reorder one in the best size/fit. The colors are great, but the fit isn't good in either size. I'm normally a medium, but after reading the reviews I suspected medium would be too large. It was. The small was a good fit size wise, still roomy, but it was as unflattering as the medium. I've had to return several Fisher tops this fall due to bulk in all the wrong spots and this vest has the same issues. I'm disappointed as I love the style and color and fabric. I can't justify the purchase when there is bulk in all the wrong places.
