Practical sophistication
This coat has wool on top and nylon at the bottom, making it perfect for walking on a slushy winter day because you don't have to worry about splashing. The stitched curves are so much more flattering than straight horizontals and the stitching is impeccably matched at the seams.

More classy and beautiful in person. Thanks to the previous reviewer as I purchased the correct size the first time! I usually wear a petite-medium size in everything but in this coat, I fit best in a petite - petite size. No zipper - just metal-plastic snap-buttons in front.

Sophisticated
This coat is lightweight and sophisticated. Since it was a pre-order, I called the store in SoHo to determine sizing because Eileen Fisher runs large. The store hadn't received this item so we went by the size guide and determined, with my measurements, and ordered a XL. It was HUGE! I set up a return, which is extremely easy to do, and the SoHo store placed an ordered for a L because of limited stock. Got the L and again, was huge. After consulting the store again, determined that a size S would be my best bet. It was perfect. Can't thank Lilly in the SoHo store for time and patience.
