Part puffer, part wool jacket. A hooded coat with a quilted body and boiled wool
at the sleeves and trim. Made with a recycled nylon weave that keeps warmth
in—and waste out of landfills.

- 5'9" model is wearing a size extra small, which measures 34 1/2 inches on the body. Petite model is 5'3" and wearing a size petite small, which measures 33 inches on the body.

Light-Weight Quilted Coat
Eggshell is not my favorite fabric as it is too flimsy and therefore works only when is quilted . This coat is standing out from other quilted coats. It is different because of the wool trim and sleeves. The coat is very light-weight which makes it convenient for travel. The hood and thin nature of fabric make it more like wind-breaker than a light-weight puffer (not sure about wool sleeves that do not have lining).
During the same sale I've purchased eggshell classic colar coat, which is more a jacket than coat. Its style is very similar with the coat I am reviewing, it also has a trim - only mde of Corduroy, not wool. From the distance both items look like siblings - one toller and another shorter. I am still debating with myself which one to keep (or may be both). The jacket can definitely be used in the spring and fall with jeans and pants. The coat can also be used with skirt or dress. All and all - both items look very nice.

Love this coat
So stylish and comfortable. Agreed, it is not warm, but just perfect for where I live. As with Eileen Fisher, it runs small. I got a SP and usually wear a L in other coats. I got lucky and waited for a sale.

Fantastic jacket
I get many compliments for this jacket. it is not good for temperatures under 40F but if you wear a sweater under it you can use it most of the NJ winter.
