Sizing way too big
This is a very light weight jacket--the fabric feels a bit thin. But my major complaint is that the sizing is way too big. I ordered my usual Eileen Fisher size M, returned it, ordered another size S and had to return that also.

Handy lightweight jacket
I like the jacket especially the deep pockets and trim. I normally wear xs but only a pp was available. It fit just right so I would say the jacket runs big. I am not crazy about the nylon material ; has odd sheen to it. As others mentioned, this is not a cold weather jacket but is working well for 50+ degrees

Perfect for not too cold weather in the 50 degree
Lightweight rain jacket with fine details. The snaps, the trim on the collar, great deep pockets, falls below the hip away from the body, and on sale! Love it

Perfect for What I Wanted

Perfect jacket - sooo lightweight & warm - for travel & varying climate temps. Again, love how lightweight it is & the length. High mid-thigh on me - 135 lbs, 5'5, size S was more than ample for layering. Cute corduroy trim. Would love to see this in the same length VEST for next season and WITH POCKETS. Some colors would be good, too. Warm brown, maybe a burnt orange ... Anyway, a great buy & wardrobe staple, as are most all EF garments.

This is light weight but fits easily over a heavier sweater for added warmth. The trim sets it off from other basic black quilted nylon and makes it quietly stylish. This detail makes sure you don’t see yourself coming and going in a crowd. Loved the design and would like it in other colors

Light weight but warm.
The longer length of this coat is comfortable and the lightweight fabric is surprisingly warm My size choice was perfect in sleeve length and girth. Love it.

I love this coat!
I live in Southern California where the weather can be chilly at night in (our mild) winter...but also 70 during the day. I love this coat cause there's plenty of room to layer underneath if it gets cold or just wear with a long sleeve tee. It's VERY comfortable and very roomy which I like...but I do agree it's pricey.

Pricey for such a lightweight
"Lightweight" is the key descriptor. I thought quilted would mean warm. I like the styling, trim, fit. However, it's just not very warm and for $400 I expected more. I am contemplating a fleece liner for mine.

Fabric Disappointment
I purchased this coat in a PP. My immediate response is about the fabric.It felt slick, which is not a good look, and droopy thin. Consequently, the structure was not great. It is certainly not what I would have expected from Eileen Fisher. There is a continuing issue with petite arm length.

Overpriced
Purchased online because I needed a jacket for Mid-Atlantic fall and winter. The fit was okay, but the fabric did not live up to my expectations. This is a very lightweight shirt jacket. For the price, I was taken aback by the (lack of) weight and quality. It is overpriced for what it is. Returned.

Light Weight
I purchased this coat from a well-known retail store online and took a chance on sizing. Wow, perfect fit! It’s light weight, and I love that I will be able to layer with a sweater and not get too hot. It moves easily and is a classic style, with a spread collar in a touch of corduroy. I paid full price and don’t regret it :)

I'm a big fan of EF's recycled nylon which is easy to travel with and manages to be wonderfully lightweight while still retaining some warmth. This stye is both classic and versatile but I found my usual size too large so went down a size.

Love the quilting but, that where it ends
I have been wearing EF for over 20 years. I purchased this coat thinking it would be a good weight for doing errands. I have been in the hunt to replace a previous coat purchased a couple years back. This is poor made and so thin it doesn’t even feel like a jacket more like a shirt. At the price point it should be a heavier weight. Very Very Disappointing!
