Great for petites. I look awful in black but this top in Bluette provides that “classic black shirt” look in a more flattering color for me. This is one of those dress it up or down pieces that I can wear with jeans. I like this with last season’s corduroy pants in wren, wide leg wool, and of course in the crepe pants as shown. Although this is part of the spring/summer collection, the color is almost jewel tone in this fabric. One reviewer (same fabric in a dress) said the sheen disappeared after a wash; so I’m going to be careful about using a very gentle cleaning product and hope that helps. I’m thinking holiday party host, a little polish at the office, night out.

Lovely shirt-I wish it were shorter
If you are tall, you will wear this shirt a lot. I am 5' 2", and because it is long I look dumpy and short legged if I wear it with long skirts or regular pants. I wear it only with a very slim leg, as in leggings. That said, it is beautiful silk, and surprisingly flattering. It skims the body and the crushed pleats sort of "blur" the lines.

Beautiful shirt, beautiful colors
I now have two of these lovely shirts. They are so lightweight, I expect to wear them through the summer with the sleeves rolled up. I’m a little anxious about washing them (label says they can be washed in a hosiery bag, but I would do it by hand): will the crinkles flatten out? Not going to dry clean. Any advice or experience about this would be appreciated.

Great color. The usual quality workmanship.
I love it when Eileen Fisher goes beyond black, cream, navy, white, and gray and finds quality fabric in more interesting muted colors. I would visit and buy more often they would do more of this!
