Loss of shape
I have this dress and a longer version in the same fabric. I read reviews after purchase about problems with the pleats (which is the essence of the material). I wore a couple of times and had the same issue where I sit on the fabric. I washed and twisted per speaking with EF customer service. It’s not the same at all, looks terrible. Now I have the same issue approaching with the other dress. It’s completely flattened in the back. My rec is not to purchase unless you can afford to use it for just a few wearings.

good, not great
I knew when I bought this dress, based on reviews, that the pleats will require some maintenance. After about 4 hours of wear, the pleats were noticeably relaxed; after 6-8 hours, the dress was shapeless. I'll try belting it to see how it looks. Also, the color looks a little more green-hued in the photos; however in real life it's blue and less vibrant. Still, the dress is comfortable and cool, and it was on sale, so I'll keep it.

Gorgeous style
Love the alpine color, nicely forms to my figure, nice attractive length that covers my knees. The fabric feels wonderful. I love the ease of rolling it for packing when traveling.
Wish there was a matching linen or light weight alpine cardigan as I plan to wear this for summer. I am 5'4, 108 pounds, petite and slim. The XXS fit perfect. I hope that by handwashing it will keep its shape. This style is elegant, and I have several of the longer dresses in this crushed style to wear for parties and church events.

Loved it until I wore it
I love this dress and was excited to wear it for a special evening. Within 4 hours of putting on the dress, the creases began to relax. By the end of the evening, about 6 hours of wear, creases were still visible but the dress had become shapeless. I will continue to wear it, but need to find a belt to help this dress keep its shape.

Beautiful garment
This dress is a beautiful garment - it molds to the body in the torso then flares out slightly. The fabric is extremely comfortable. I've worn it twice once with a black dressy sweater and another time with a green print sweater. You can wear it year round in most climates. Consider sizing down if you want a true column look. The four instead of five stars is because on a shorter person even with a petite size it is much longer than knee length and I think having it altered might ruin the shape of the dress. However lengths are flexible these days so unless you must adhere to a certain dress code it shouldn't matter too much.

Beautiful color
I bought this dress about a month ago and I just loved it. Fit in all the right places and was so comfortable. My problem with the dress is how do you get those pleats back in the dress after washing? If I can't get the pleats back, then it's a completely different fit.
