Great dress - shame about the side silts
I'm really happy with this dress. As I'm not US-based, I ordered both a small and a medium online, mainly because Eileen Fisher sizing can be quite difficult to get right these days, which is a bit disappointing.
Both sizes work well for me in a dress of this style, depending on the occasion. The quality of the fabric and the cut are, as always, divine, and they're what keep bringing me back to Eileen Fisher time and time again.
That said, the side slits in EF dresses seem to get longer every year and have become a feature of many styles. I'm definitely not a fan, and it would be great if the brand gave more thought to this design detail.

Simple dress can be dress up or down casual perfect for work nice color and true to the size. I am 5,5 looks perfect. I will wear on fall with cowboy shoes.

I’d Buy Many
Lovely dress. I normally wear a Small in EF but ordered a small and medium due a few extra pounds recently. The small fit perfectly. Material is great, substantial but not heavy. I wouldn’t characterize it as a cotton slub just cotton. Great color. I’m ready to buy this again and again if you offered a selection of colors. I’ve worn it to a jazz fest and to the office. Really a great comfortable dress.

I like that this dress has sleeves.
It is a nice dress for a casual lunch, but it can also be dressed up with smart accessories. It features a comfortable fabric in a pretty blue color.

Comfortable, polished, easy-to-wear t-shirt dress
I love the ease of a t-shirt dress and this one is nicer than many. The fabric is more substantial than expected. When I wore it for the first time, my husband commented on how elegant I looked. It packs well and did not require steaming or ironing after a few days in a suitcase. The blue is a sort of sapphire blue (more cobalt than navy). This dress does not have pockets. While I love pockets, they would add unnecessary bulk to the graceful fit and lines of this dress, and the pockets would stretch out. The dress is better without them. Very happy with the dress.
