- Subtly curved through the leg, slightly tapered at the ankle. Fits the body with ease.
- Kalyane is 5'10" and wears a size S in Deep Indigo. Haejin is 5'5" and wears a size PS. Ryan is 5'8" and wears a size 1X.
- 5-pocket styling, fly front with button and zipper closure.

Great denim lantern pants
I own every lantern pant EF makes but my favorites are the denim versions. The newest is this black denim version and it does not disappoint. Perfect fit and comfortable. I’m 5’2” at 136 lbs and wear PM. Highly recommend

Cotton Stretch Denim Lantern Jean
I bought these pants in the Medium Indigo and the Classic Indigo. Both fit the same, and the length meets my ankles. As pictured in one of the advertisements, the model wears it cuffed, and I may do the same with my booties. I am pleased with the fit.

Inseams are inconsistent, stretch out like crazy
I ordered all three colors and loved them at first only to discover that the inseams are actually 28-27” on a medium regular depending on color. They shrink and stretch out!!!

Excellent
I reach for this denim because it is softer and the leg is lantern cut which allows easy movement. The denim can be used for most seasons except maybe the coldest. I am so pleased with this purchase.

I bought and returned so many jeans from various stores. Then I decided to try EF. And, I was not disappointed. The petite length is perfect for my small frame. The other jeans I bought were also petite. But, I think made for petite giants. EF is the best for us small gals.

Nice dark jeans and a very flattering cut. A teensy bit short to wear with sneakers but looks great with flats and sandals. nice high waist. funny little short pockets, so not for putting your hand all the way in. I have several pairs of this style

Love these
I generally don't like wearing jeans--even if you can find ones that fit, they are so uncomfortable, stiff, or ugly that I just don't bother with them. On impulse, I bought a pair of these and absolutely love them. They fit beautifully, they are comfortable, they hold their shape. They might be a little light for the winter; I guess I'll be finding out! I only wish they had these in black; I'd buy a second pair.

So cute but run a tad big.
I love the lantern look and love these pants, however, I will need to exchange them for a smaller size. I typically fit perfectly in a medium petite jean. I have lantern style linen pants that fit great (MP). These denim lantern jeans run a bit wider in hip and waist so much so that I can pull them down without unzipping. I do love these pants - so am going to get them in small size to see how that goes.

I LOVE these jeans. I've never worn lantern style before and was afraid they'd be sloppy or baggy. They aren't. I prefer straight legs with a smooth line, snug but not tight fit, and sleep appearance. I am 5'5.5" and proportionate but not skinny in the middle like I used to be, sigh... Anyway, I usually wear a Med in EF pants. These fit so wonderfully I am just thrilled. They are roomy in the knee area, which adds immeasurable comfort for jeans. They are normally fitted in the waist, butt, hips and upper thighs, lower calves and ankles. The length hits me right below the ankle bone. I did feel they were roomy for a medium, and have lost a few pounds so reordered in small, which is snug. They do stretch a bit with wearing so give them a few hours before you think they are too tight. They do not bind anywhere! The waist fits my older, several pregnancies, and less than hourglass shape, and is in fact, just a bit roomy. So, get your regular size, and if you are concerned re fit, line dry them and then tumble with a few dryer balls to fluff them up. They return to regular size after washing. I have these in dark, medium, and light wash and each is exactly as shown in the colored photos. I wear them with ballet flats or slip on sneakers, flat boots in the winter. I LOVE how they fit and give me so much comfort for movement, none of the pulling or binding or need to adjust in the knees when one sits, or shake them down when one stands. Hold their shape very well. These may well be the most perfect jeans I've ever worn, and I've been wearing jeans since my teens.

Fit Disappoints; No More Lantern Pants Here!
My first lantern pant. The fit of this Jean is disappointing. It is bulky and therefore not as dressy as I had expected. Too long although it is wearable; covers part of shoe. Good fabric and quality, fits waist and upper hip, and not oversized enough to chafe. So I will wear them, but only very casually. I like it that E F does not get into whiskering and such nonsense.

Eileen Fisher slim jeans fit me in petite medium, and the dark blue denim is great. Since they were out of stock I tried the same size in lantern jeans. The length was fine, but the lantern jeans were way too wide, making me wonder if they were mismarked. I don’t usually return clothes, but these went back.
