Heavy and stiff
The fabric is heavy and stiff, not soft as I imagined. Further, the weird distressing over the chest pockets does not appeal to me. Honestly, I could purchase this jacket for far, far less money at the mall. I'm not sure why this has such high marks, but I returned it.

A classy classic denim jacket.
I tried denim jackets from three other brands and this one is by far the best. The jean fabric is soft so the jacket is comfortable from the moment you put it on. The quality is true Eileen Fisher. The tailoring is classic and simple. And, it looks great on!

Fits Great & Goes with Everthing
This jacket fits beautifully on the shoulders and around the waist. I got my sweater size, small, so I could wear it with dresses and skirts. I have the Eileen Fisher slim denim jean in the same wash, Classic Indigo. The jacket was a splurge, but I treated myself to it with my EF birthday gift. I believe in investing in quality denim.

Great denim jacket
Well fitting denim jacket that is true to size with some room. The longer length is flattering and the stretch makes it comfortable to wear over a sweater. I was worried about the lighter denim as I prefer a darker denim jacket, but it is a beautiful blue. If you are between sizes, you may want to size down, but I ordered the medium and considered exchanging it for a small, but like that I can wear it comfortably over more than a tee. It is a good jacket that is well made.

Sleeves too Short
The jacket body is really comfortable and fits true to size. I am a size 18, 5’9 and bought the XL. It had room for a light hoodie underneath. The problem is the arms. The sleeves literally stop less than 3/4 of the way down my arm and I am not unusually long armed. If the sleeves were a normal length this jacket would be worth the money. Maybe on sale at half the price it would be worth it.
