Didn't keep
As stated in some of the reviews, the pants run big. I thought I would be ok with my normal M size. I ended up returning them, as they just didn't hang well. I looked 20 pounds heavier, which I don't need.😉. Maybe size down?

Lantern style denim pants
I fell in love with my new lantern style denim pants immediately. I have been looking for denims for quite a few years. They are light weight, very stylish with an elastic waist which makes them easy to get off and on easily. The Lantern style pants are my favorite in my wardrobe, they fit perfectly in a size large. I am 5’6.
I am hoping that Eileen Fisher makes them in a light blue color next. I would definitely buy them. I wear them at least twice a week, they go with all my tops.

Love these pants
So comfortable and flattering. Substantial enough to wear through the seasons. I am 5'6" 145 lbs. and I ordered the medium--my usual size. For these, the waist was too loose, so I have ordered the small and am sending the medium back. Highly recommend.

Lovely pants but not for me
These pants have the look of jeans, feel substantial,and are sooo comfortable, but the lantern is just overwhelming on me. I am sure that others will like, just not for me. I returned these and ordered the straight leg, which I love.

The most comfortable blue jean ever. I am 5'6" 148lbs. I love the high rise and elastic waist. These pants do not bag out after wearing all day. They are a wider leg so need to style differently than a straight leg. I wish they came in full length. This denim lantern pant is ankle length.

Wonderful jeans

Soft, comfortable fabric. Size Small was too big. Returned for SP which is a perfect fit.
The pant you can jump into without thinking because it's a versatile color and can be dressier than a denim jean look.

Best Lanterns
I have quite a few lantern pants from EF, and these are some of my all time favorites. They drape well, have a good weight, and are very comfortable and flattering. I'm usually a M and very occasionally a S in EF lantern pants, and took an M in these for a comfy fit.

Best new jeans in a long time
These are very flattering, stretchy jeans. The stretch and partial elastic waist make them very comfortable, and the flat front makes them more flattering than the "all around the waist" elastic. They run true to size. The dark denim makes them work as a dressier slack, too. I just took a trip with them and wore them first with a sweater and later with just a tee. My favorite pants right now.

I wish I could give it 5 stars
I’m 5’3”, 120 lbs, and the size PS was way too big. Unfortunately, the PP was sold out, so I had to return them. When I called customer service I was told that Eileen Fisher does not replenish items once they are sold out. Very disappointing, as I really liked the style and fabric. I would have given it 5 stars.

My Favorite Pants

Comfortable, soft denim
I love the silhouette of EF Lantern Pants! The petite sizing is perfect for my 5’2” frame. These pants have the added benefit of a bit of spandex, so they don’t stretch out like the linen pants of the same style. The fabric is soft and drapes nicely…not stiff. Nice dark denim color goes with everything. Very pleased!

I chose these pants for comfort (elastic waistband) and its fabric texture which is 'brushed' so that it has more warmth. Its loose fit ensures that it isn't to warm. I plan t enjoy it during cool days.

Soft, generously sized, very comfy, chic!
These dark denim knit lantern pants run generously (I'm currently at the top of my weight range -- they'll be loose later) but fit well now in my usual EF size, L. So I'd say they run a little bigger than many EF lantern pants this year (I have some linen and cotton ones for summer.) They are medium to medium heavy weight fabric, very stretchy, and quite "lantern-y". Very very comfortable. Adequate sized pockets. Ankle length on my 5'6" self, as hoped. I'll wear these all fall and winter once I wash them several times to remove excess dye. More fall and winter colors, please -- gray, soft black, black, dark taupe, faded or whiskered too, please -- whatever. I'll buy one of each and replace my straIght jeans with these. And love them.

Love these pants but wish they came in XLP
Love these pants. They don’t bag out. Waist stays in place. Just wish they came in an XLP since they are a bit long for me at 5’6” and hemming them doesn’t help since the lantern arch is a little low.
