So very wide
At 5'3" I generally order petite sizing. I tried these pants in both Regular and Petite M. The petite fit fine but I just couldn't get past the volume of these pants. Also, the waist is thick with the elastic and gathering of the fabric. Suffice it to say this style looks a lot better on the model! I would be interested in seeing this knit denim in a slimmer leg style.

Super comfortable!
The fabric and the styling make these the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. Usually, I'm a PS in EF pants, but I had to size down to PP for these. For reference, I'm 4'11, 98 lbs. They look great with Chelsea boots and loafers. Fingers crossed they are still great after washing.

I love them, might not be for everyone
Mid weight soft knit denim, more substantial and with better stitching/finishing than other knit denim I’ve seen. I had to size down to an XS which I don’t have to do in other EF clothes (5’4”, 130 lbs, flatter hips and butt) These end right above my foot, so socks show a smidge and they don’t drape on my shoes at all. It’s not a subtle lantern shape; if I wore a baggier top it might look clownish. I wear with more fitted tops and like the look. I find the rise pretty average. The pants don’t show off or enhance anything on my body; rather they hang in a loose taper that is not constricting. I find these to be well made, versatile, comfortable pants that allow full movement and elevate the tshirt I most likely slept in 😉. Pro tip- Dog hair does not stick to these. A lighter color blue denim would be nice, and maybe a grey or brown shade. I’d buy more with different color options. I’d also like to see a full length version.

Clown pants
Bought these because I own an old pair of EF lantern pants which are not exaggerated in the cut. These arrived and they’re like BALLOONS. They’re a size Small! I am not small. 5’2” and overweight. The legs are so baggy in the rear my husband started humming “Can’t Touch This!” 😂 I waited too long to return and now they’re my most expensive piece of loungewear.😬

I EXPECTED BETTER FABRIC AND STYLE
Other reviewers mentioned that they liked the soft fabric, but for me it had too much spandex to be comfortable in a range of temperatures. I have several pair of lantern pants from other brands that I love, includinng Madewell and Splendid. The shape of this lantern pant was surprisingly unflattering, so I am returning.

Make more. Make better colors
In the larger sizes they are fairly shapeless but omg the fabric. The problem is the color. Who want featureless dark blue jeans? PLEASE make these in white, black and more bleached denim. PLEASE.
