Perfect in every way
Comfortable beyond belief and great looking. Get compliments every time I wear them. Would love to see these offered again, particularly would love to see a solid black (i.e., with black sole) in smooth leather.

Comfortable, Cool European Look
Great shoes! I imagine they will be good for traveling as they are very comfortable and stylish with a European, artistic flair. Size 9 fit perfectly, as I go between a 9 -91/2 depending on the EF shoe. These would be fun in black leather with the white tennis shoe sole also.

Stretches with wear
This shoe stretches out with wear so if it's a little snug, don't worry. It is one of only two shoe brands I can wear (even including those geriatric shoe store types) because of a serious foot problem, CRPS. It has a stiff sole (good for hallux limitus or hallux rigidus), does not hit a bunion, and covers toe nails (no need for expensive pedicures) yet are still airy like a sandal. They have a thick, yet rubber sole so are very comfortable and add a little height if you can't or don't want to wear heels.
Highly, highly recommend! In every color ;) The other type of shoe I can wear looks like a thick Birkenstock. This is the only shoe that is truly comfortable and fashionable. This pointed style is a bit longer than the open toe version to make room for your toes so they're not caught much in the point.

what do I do when they Stretch?
I love love love the shoes but mine have stretch so much that I am no longer able to wear them without them flopping all over my feet so as much as I recommend them to everyone I just want you to be aware that this could be a problem for you in the future. EF any suggestions and what I do to fix it other than buying another pair?

Comfortable and stylish
I needed comfortable and closed toed sandals, so these shoes, advertised as sneaker sandals, were perfect. I walk around my city quite a lot and the sneaker feature makes these very comfortable while also being stylish. I read reviews before ordering and some reviewers said the shoes were too small or too large. I covered my bases by ordering sizes 8, 8.5, and 9. My normal size is 8.5 and that was the size that fit me. Due to free shipping and free returns, I was able to return the two pair I didn’t need. The leather is lovely on these and a closed toe sandal is very hard to find. I bought these on sale for 40% off and at that price, they were a good find.

EF shoe with lots of style
I love this shoe, even though, like most EF shoes, they don't fit me beautifully. I seem not to have an average foot. But the shoes are comfortable & beautifully styled.

Comfy, classic staple.
Had to return size 8 for a 7.5 but hadn't read the sizing chart prior. Fits like a glove, made from kidskin. Perfect. Will go with everything.

Comfortable shoe For a Narrow foot
Once on, this was a comfortable shoe for me, and I have very narrow feet! I love flats, and I love this shoe. But it is difficult for me to put on. Once on, it was very comfy. So use your judgement. If you have wide feet, order the next wider size, because one of the comments from my friends is that they thought these shoes were too narrow for them.

Impossible to get on your feet...
I loved the design, but the struggle to get them on necessitated returning them. The crossed straps are not stretchy making it very difficult to put the shoe on easily.

A great find
This shoe is quite comfortable and fits perfectly around my foot and ankle. I like the look best with pants that are NOT fitted at the ankles. I'm sure that is just a personal preference. (I do wear them with Eileen's wonderful slim ankle pant!) This great looking shoe with it's comfort and ability to be dressed up, (due to the black nubuck and all-around black color) is discreet, but stylish, which makes it versatile. Not much precipitation here in sunny so. cal, so this will be an all year round shoe. I bought them on sale too, (thank you Eileen) so I would have to say this is one of my best deals from Eileen Fisher. Delighted.

Perfect for the right foot type.
Oh how l wanted these to work. Well constructed, versatile style and super comfortable (for one foot)! The vamp is not long enough nor wide enough for my foot that has “ issues” (bunion). Purchased the Ogden Knit Wedge - perfect fit all around for me; so l had hoped for this Carver Sneaker to be an alternative when l wanted a flat. Unfortunately, l had to return.

I have a high instep and even buying a half size larger,
could not get my foot in shoe. If straps had been elastic, it would have been fine. Since they were marketed as sneakers, I had assumed straps were elastic not suede, my fault.

Stylish but not earth motherish
These shoes are my new favorite “go to” outfit completers. They are not too earth motherish and I wear them with jeans, pants, skirts, leggings. Super comfortable and well made. I want more colors. Very happy with my purchase.

Comfortable and Stylish
I bought these shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe. I wanted something comfortable and also stylish. These fit the bill. They will be great with jeans or dressier black pants. The suede is soft but the shoe has a lot of support. I usually wear an 8 1/2 shoe but sometimes I need a 9 in Eileen Fisher shoes and boots. I took a chance on the 8 1/2 and I think it will be just right. A little snug now but it should stretch out. The 9 would have been too big.

Based on several reviews I ordered these in an 8.5 rather than my usual 9. This was a mistake. Do not size down. I am reordering in the 9. These are a nice shoe. I was afraid they'd be a little clunky but they are streamlined & attractive.

Comfortable flat shoe
This will be a go to, especially for travel. Very stylish, great with pants or dresses/skirts. It does seem to run a little large, however,

Classy and Comfortable
I bought these sandals for an upcoming trip to Europe in order to remain comfortable in the heat and the extensive walking. With the sneaker bottom and cushioned toe bed, these flats should help me enjoy the trip. I bought my usual EF size and wore them to an evening wedding right out of the box with no difficulty. The straps fit around my average ankles and the zippers pulled up and stayed up. I loved these when I first saw them on this site, they did not disappoint.

I should have bought two pairs!
These shoes are true to size. When I put them on, they were a little snug. After wearing twice, the nubuck leather loosened and they fit beautifully.

Odd sizing!
I wanted these shoes. The design is just what I was looking for, a breezy but close-toed, comfortable summer sandal. But I couldn't find a size that fit. I'm a true 7.5, though in winter boots I take an 8 so I can wear thick woolly socks. The 7.5's were a little too tight in the toe box, and the staff informed me that the shoes wouldn't stretch. The 8's were huge all around, width as well as length. I've never experienced such a huge discrepancy in a half size range before. I'm disappointed!
