Tough Skin Needed
Nice looking top, but the material was scratchy against my skin. I had read reviews that it might be an irritating fabric, but I took a chance anyway. Too bad EF quality of fabrics has declined so much over the years.

Nice texture for something different. I bought this in my usual XS to go with the cobblestone pants. A soft neutral that goes well with black and navy.

A perfect fit
I ordered my usual size (XS), and, with one exception, the fit was perfect for me, since I don't like anything too tight. I wish it were available in Petite sizes, because the sleeves are too long and the lettuce edges make hemming them difficult. The color (dark navy) and the fabric are attractive and versatile.

Sizing?
Was going to get a M but last minute changed my mind to a S in maritime. Most of my EF tops are S and fit well. Wrong choice, I should have gone with the M. The S fit like XS, the length was 21 inches not 23 as described.
I like the textured fabric and the closer fit so might try again with a M.

love this fabric
I absolutely love this fabric! I'm 75 years old and I have a few lumps and bumps, but I like to wear my tops close to my body as I feel the look is more updated. This fabric allows for a slim fit that camouflages everything I don't want to show. I own the LS, SS, and SL versions as well as the skirt. I'm addicted!

A more fitted look that is still forgiving
Purchased in now sold out Aubergine, and only the S was available. I am on the cusp of needing M at 5’5” and 145lbs. However the bubble jacquard is kind to my thicker waist. I also have broad shoulders, a wide ribcage and still managed to wear S. If you have a narrow torso, you could possibly step down further in size. I might buy the black in M. With wide pants, this more fitted top is a plus. The finished lettuce edge makes it nice on the outside of skirts and slacks. I will use a laundry bag to prevent snags and lay flat to dry but it can be tumble dried.

I am very pleased with this top. It fits true to size on me, and is very attractive. I like the fabric because it is something different from most of the Eileen Fisher tops.

The Epitome of Effortless Dressing
The puckered, bubble texture adds a little je ne sais quoi that makes you look really put together when you simply put this top on with a pair of slacks or jeans. The epitome of “effortless.” Liked it so much I had to purchase it in a second color too.
