Hurray for what may be cordoroy or suede sister, but whatever, it is great. The only area where the fit was strange was due to my aging body, not the pants.

Metal zipper ruins
Love the fabric and cut of the pants; the side zip is really slimming. But about that zipper . . . it's an exposed hard piece of metal and irritates the skin. That's why I gave only 4 stars. After tax, these pants will come in at $200. There should be more attention paid to craftsmanship, like EF used to. This is a real comedown quality-wise.

Sizing
I am still getting used to an EF fit for pants which on me is always a tad large…or at least that’s what I think lol They did shrink a tiny bit in the wash which I consider a plus! The product is lovely and comfortable.

Order never delivered
This is the first time this has ever happened to me in my many years of ordering from Eileen Fisher. I emailed customer service and the response said they would look into it, but I haven't heard back yet. It IS the Christmas rush, so I hope this will be resolved soon.

Longtime EF fan disappointed
What I have loved most about EF clothes is the fabric. I love the color and the fabric and the cut and the style of these pants too. But my go-to size, PS, was utterly too large. I washed the cotton pants in hot water. That at least addressed the excess length. But not the width.

A different fit for Eileen Fisher
I like these pants but the fit is very specific. I originally ordered a petite medium. I am 5'3-1/2"and the length was perfect but the rise was too long resulting in a baggy butt. I returned and exchanged for a petite small. They are a little snug, but I'm keeping them as I feel they will ease some once they have been worn a few times. Birch color is very nice and the fabric is soft and smooth.
