Stunning coat
This is a stunning coat. Why is it not a 5? Because the snaps are an accident waiting to happen. Lovely that when closed, they are hidden, giving the coat a clean look. But they are sewn on and it takes a fair amount of force to open them. To prevent them tearing apart, I have to use opposing force on both sides. Most inconvenient. But I love it and am keeping it because it is so darn beautiful, stylish, and warm.

Beautiful Coat but runs large
Material & style are both wonderful. While EF generally has generous sizing, this garment was really oversized. I debated ordering a size smaller given other reviewer comments but wanted to make sure I had enough room to wear heavier sweaters, etc. I guessed wrong - the coat in my normal size was enormous & I sent it back. The smaller size works perfectly. It really is a gorgeous coat despite the sizing issue.

Cannot believe how huge this coat is. Several years ago, I purchased another coat in your line- the alpaca coat in size Medium. Perfect it! A medium in this is almost like an XL. Also the fabric is not pretty. Returning it.

Beautiful
I just bought this coat. I am normally a L but went with an XL because I thought I might be wearing suit jackets or bulky sweaters under it. It is a bit big but I do wear bulky sweaters so it's perfect. I am 5'8" and in my 70's. It's beautifully made and the alpaca makes it surprisingly light weight. The only suggestion I have is that they could have put some packing material around the collar so it didn't get smashed in the
box. My collar won't stand up from the packing creases so I'm taking it into the cleaners to get it steamed.

Absolutely stunning coat
This coat is beautiful in every way. It seems to run large. I'm usually a small/medium and I'm sizing down to an XS because I was drowning in the small.

Absolutely Wonderful
This coat is divine in so many ways. I love the weave of the alpaca - somewhat substantial yet soft. Cupro makes a great lining allowing arms, even with thick sweaters, to slide right through. At 5'3" I chose my normal regular size and not my normal petite size because I like the added length in the regular size. This makes the sleeves a little long but doable. If you have short arms, you may want to purchase the petite size. Since I like to avoid harmful chemicals, I do not dry clean clothes. When needed I will lightly steam. The color is perfect and goes great with Sea Salt and Chalk. Even though it says it is Moon, since the weave is mixed with the lighter color the overall effect is a nice shade of a light, soothing color that makes a great neutral. I am so happy that this coat has snaps. 😉
