and an adjustable drawstring at the waist, in a fluid weave with finely gathered

Sleek and swishy -- makes you look younger!
Love this dress for its elegance and its balletic sway when I walk. The high neck makes it harder to guess your age, ladies -- always a plus. The silk feels lovely against the skin, but it's quote sturdy, not at all gossamery. You can wear this anywhere, day or night.

Will Be A Favorite For Years to Come
Casual and elegant at the same time. It can easily be dressed up or down & is light as a feather for packing the perfect dress for traveling. It is so well made and the gorgeous weave of the fabric skims the body in such a fabulous way. So pleased with this beautiful dress.

Flattering and comfortable
Ordered for a cruise trip, it will work perfectly. I am 5'8" tall and weigh 155, the only size left in the color I wanted (the teal which is pretty) was a petite medium, it works.

Lovely dress
Beautiful!! I just wish the neck was tighter. Still like it, I just love the mock neck look so much that I was committed to that looks but it doesn’t naturally stay up like this… it’s very loose. Maybe. Should have sized down.
Also, I’m 5’2 and the length was perfect!!!

Comfortable, color more muted in real life
Love how comfortable the fit is. Was a little disappointed that the actual color's more muted than the color on-screen, but not too disappointed that I would return it. I'm 4'10"; this dress even in petite reaches down to my ankles. Not sure how easy it would be to hem this, considering the fabric (I am not an expert seamstress).

Returned it, Eileeen Fisher purchase ever. Material was cheap, dress was unflattering. First item that I have ever returned for reasons like these.
