Not Your Standard EF Silk Blouse
This is not your usual EF silk blouse. Guess I should have researched “washed silk tussah” before I added it to my shopping bag—but the sale was about to end & it was a good price & the last one in my size. The fabric is different—very different. It is supposed to be cooler than regular silk. It is thin & looks distressed. Still deciding if I will keep or return it, but if YOU are considering it do your self a favor & research the fabric type so that you will not be surprised, too.

So lightweight!
It’s absolutely divine to the touch and feels so airy. As light and breathable as a feather. Was wowed by it only after seeing and feeling it on in person. It’s a bit sheer, but I quite like that to offset the more boxy fit. Beautiful fabric and love the easiness of the fit. Can easily be dressed up or down with an air of effortlessness in summer.

Sizing issues
The washed silk fabric of this shirt is absolutely beautiful. However the sizing was definitely ‘off’. I bought a 1X and it was huge - most unflattering. Such a shame.
