I chose the color, Marigold, and it was perfect for summer time. Since I’m a bilateral amputee this dress is perfect with my prosthetics. I’m so happy Eileen. Fisher had some color in her summer collection. I highly recommend the dress.

Linen Delave Shirtdress - Great for work or play
Pretty color and fabric however the armhole cutouts are so large that I'll have to wear a tank or tank dress under this dress so that my bra doesn't show. Otherwise it's an easy, comfortable piece.

Got this dress in the marigold color. I am between a XS and S in most EF dresses. I got the S and it fits great. I love EF’s Linen dresses for the hot Southern CA summers.

Comfortably cool and flattering
First purchased the raspberry linen dress. Found a slim black belt to wear with it. Then purchased the marigold dress. The colors, the pockets, the collars, the length, the design are so flattering. Am wearing over black leggings and am comfortably cool. Wear the dresses nearly every day!

Perfect summer accent piece

I like it
I was hesitant because I haven't had good luck with shirt dresses and was concerned about the sleeves and the no waist style. Thought it might just look baggy. Read the other reviews which were favorable, decided to take a chance and found it fits very nicely. I checked to see the inside and noticed they sewed an insert panel on the side which helps with the way it hangs. The fabric is wonderful but I already knew that from the linen shirts I purchased in the past. I purchased the green color which looks refreshing and I think would work for more seasons. It is a bit short on me but I do shorter in warmer weather so it works.

Too long
I wish this came in Petite sizes. I liked the simplicity and they way the dress draped on me but it was too long and I didn’t want to hem it. I am 5’4” and the Medium was too long. The EF linen collection runs larger than I expected. Returned.

Too boxy for slender figures
I have last year's version of this dress, so I was looking forward to add another color to my wardrobe. Sadly, this dress, in an XS, was too big, too boxy, for me--so much fabric that it was difficult to find the pockets. Returned.

A Classic Refreshed
I have the last two seasons' version of this dress (where the buttons don't go all the way down). It is an easy wash and wear dress. I never put it in the dryer and just let it air dry. It looks so put together with minimal effort. It's perfect for Spring-Fall in Texas. The raspberry color is gorgeous. The only issue I noticed is the buttons have lost some of their luster from rubbing against countertops, but not a deal breaker. I sized up for a flowy go-y feel!

Loose yet polished look
Very nice dress. On a hanger, this dress looks like a boxy rectangle, but on, the dress looks great. I think it's a combination of the right cut and fabric. Dress hangs loose, but the mandarin collar and slight cap sleeve give it a light Asian feel. Nile color is great too. I'm very happy with it.

Cut Too Wide!
I love the color, but the style of this dress is cut way too wide even through the shoulders. I was swimming in it. The models with their broad shoulders can wear it better, but most of us don’t have their proportions. Please design some shirt dresses with slimmer cuts for your customers who are slimmer but not petite in height. We like shirt dresses too!

Love the sleeves! Dress is great overall
I have this dress in both colors and have worn both of them often this summer. I am dressed in minutes and feel put together even on the warmest days. I want to defend the sleeve option since this type of sleeve has received so much criticism. For me it minimizes my upper arms, which aren’t as slim as I would like. What you don’t get is the binding feeling that a sleeve seam can add when a garment has no stretch. I also think that a short sleeve and collar can make for a nerdy look (think pocket protector).
