- 1 1/2-inch elastic waistband, zipper fly front with hook-and-bar closure.
- Slash pockets, 1-inch-deep front pleats.
- Back darts for shape.

pleats did not flatter my body
Disappointingly, my figure did not do well in these pants. The pleats were unflattering to both my front and side profile. With the high waist, I would need to wear shirts tucked in. Untucked shirts just made me look more square/boxy = chunky. I liked the fabric and color, just not the style.
