- Kalyane is 5'10" and wears a size S in Bayleaf. Nina is 5'3" and wears a size PSin Field. Christina is 5'10" and wears a size 1X in Field.

It’s hot and dry where I live and organic linen is the most comfortable way to dress. My latest lantern pants are I believe the 5th or 6th I bought from EF. I also love the unique colors. They somehow always go with the EF shirts I have.

Care and color
The fit is perfect; the color is gorgeous.
The pieces require cold wash and a cool iron--not necessarily in everyone's resources
(and so the care may be costly).
Still, like a cool greensward at twilight, the upkeep is worth it.

I'm always cautious I don't become the Green Man (old English folk story)... Field is an interesting shade (and won't evoke comparisons). I'm short, prefer sets and was lucky to find the pants when they went on sale.

Beautiful pair of pants
Love Love Love these pants. Such an improvement over my sweat pants. The are just as comfortable but so elevated in style with the linen. Blue color is GORGEOUS. This is my new favorite outfit to wear everywhere. Bought for D's college graduation and it worked perfectly. I did return the medium for a PM since the crotch was rather long. I'm 5'6 and the PM was perfect

Light, breezy and not too baggy
These are great pants. I ordered the Medium, which fit my 37" waist perfectly. Since I'm short (5' 0") I had to hem them about 4 inches. Especially love the deep pockets. I plan to take them to Paris on vacation next week.

The Only Pants EF Makes I Can Fit
I have an unusually short rise and have difficulty finding pants that do not hang in the crotch no matter the designer. This particular cut of Lantern pants fit because they are cut generously so I can wear a PP which has a slightly shorter rise. An inch makes all the difference.
The fabric is also nice. I would however like to purchase a pair made with a more casual outdoor ready fabric if that exists in this cut. Please advise EF folks. Your info would be greatly appreciated.
Until then, I am grateful for what I have. I am 5’-3” and weigh 125 to 128, depending on what goodies are going around😊

Beautiful color and fabric
I just received the XS Bayleaf Linen Delave Lantern Pants. The only thing I was disappointed about this pant was that it was not offered in PS. I will have to have them hemmed as there is no other option of pants in this fabric and color. Bayleaf is a great neutral and looks wonderful with my bone and chalk clothes as well as black and other browns.

Worth taking a second look
I ordered a medium and had to size down to a small. The small was a much better fit overall. I love the way this style fits on my body and was pleasantly surprised how supple the material is. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Huge fit!
These pants are so great, but they run very large. I usually wear a large, but even the medium was big. Unfortunately they were out of small in the grey color, so I had to take the mediums in.

Great fit
I have wider hips and bigger thighs. These are very flattering on me. The linen is also excellent quality. I bought several pairs of these lantern pants in different colors and have been washing them in cold water, line dry. However, I do see the color fading after just a few washes. They look worn, but still nice. They can be dressed up or down. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

I love these lantern pants. They fit wonderfully, and the linen is a good weight. I’ve bought 3 pairs now and love all of the colors. These pants are super comfortable too. Sometimes I’m an XS and sometimes an XXS. All 3 pairs I have are XXS.

Not good sizing
I really wanted to love these pants, as I bought the zip jacket and wanted the matching pants. The small is crazy small, tight on hips, waist so small could go past hips to try on easily. The medium is huge, the waist is big (I could live with that) but the whole crotch then ballooned out with so much fabric and the rise was way past waist. I have no idea what the Sm and M would be so drammatically different. It is possible a M Petite would fit, but it would be a first for me in sizing (and I have over 2 dozen EF pants). I figured they are soooo unflattering it was not worth trying a third time. EF your sizing is a disaster the past two years, please improve.
