Not the same
Unfortunately, this once-wonderful style has now gone the "high-waisted" route with a longer rise and smaller waist. I'm more comfortable in a mid-rise so these didn't work out for me. For reference, I'm 5'5"/90# and ordered XXS. The waist and rise, respectively, were about an inch smaller and higher than older versions in my closet. I don't like anything snug at the waist so these would have been too uncomfortable to wear. The high rise also looks a little matronly, in my opinion. However, the cut of the legs is still the same and very flattering. Too bad. Please bring back this pant in mid-rise!

Wonderful pants!!!
Initially purchased three pair of these excellent pants. Even if shorter than the original straight pant, the shorter cut still works for me. My only complaint is that I would like to buy more, but they are now out of stock, which is slightly a bummer after it took me so long to find the EF pants that would work best for me and my lifestyle.

Beautiful fabric and design —
Let me begin by say I absolutely love EF Washable Stretch Crepe fabric. I ordered the WS Crepe Straight Pant to replace a older pair I have had for years but I ended up sending them back. These pants may be straight but they are wide leg which is not what I was looking for because I wanted them to wear with a EF Washable Crepe jacket that is oversized. That being said, if you are looking for a wide leg pant these are amazing.

Outstanding new pants, again!!
They got it! Straight leg crops are fantastic. And the waist is better as well. Great fabric w no need to dry clean. I can’t wear this fabric out!

Used to be better
I purchased these in Ocean and noticed a difference from earlier versions. The rise is higher and the waist is basically tacked down. Earlier versions had a flattering mid-rise, wide finished waist, and just looked/fit better overall. The length is the same as is the leg shape and overall comfort, but I'm glad I still have a few pairs that I purchased in the past. I will be happy once the high-rise trend goes away.

Stretch crepe, wonderful fabric.
I have worn a pair of stretch crepe pants for at least ten years. I got these as a replacement, and even sized down ( according to the current size chart). The.Best.Pants.

Great addition to my summer wardrobe
These pants have a stylish shape and are made from Eileen Fisher's high quality stretch crepe fabric. I have some long pants in this fabric which I wear all the time in the fall and winter. There's really not much more to say - great fabric in an updated style.
