Six inches shorter and flimsy fabric
I have worn the washable stretch crepe straight pant for over 20 years -- have had numerous pairs, purchased them for my aging mom as well. I called EF customer service to obtain help determining if this pant was identical to what I had, and I was told it was. I was also told they needed my updated address, and I gave it. The order was then sent to the wrong address and addressed to my daughter and supposedly billed to her but with my credit number. I spent two hours today trying to get it rerouted. I spoke to four customer service agents. I was told that it was my fault, because I gave them the wrong address (false) and I should go get it. I therefore stopped working and went to try to retrieve it. Fortunately it was there (something of a miracle in Brooklyn) and I tried on the pant in the two new colors right away. It was much too short and the fabric much flimsier than the version I have. This will be my last review on Eileen Fisher and after over thirty years including ordering online I am deleting my account. I am leaving this review (doubting it will be published) which only contains true information so that others can choose if this is the kind of customer service they desire. I will buy EF clothes but only from a store or online from a trusted retailer, not what Eileen Fisher clearly has become. What a disappointment! The pants are much shorter and I did not order petite. I attach a photo to illustrate.

Greatest pants ever
I wear these exclusively. the new waist band is not as good at staying up as the oleder one but still better than any other pants I have found. These are great for just about any occasion. Fit nicely, flattering, do not cling, wash well.
They are almost always sold out in bigger sizes..

Didn’t work
I loved the fabric and the color of these straight leg pants. However, the cut of
these pants were not flattering on my 5’3” frame. I returned these but thank
goodness your customer service makes it painless.

Love these substantial weight knit pants!
I love the weight of the fabric in these pants. I have several pair and they are my favorite. I am 5'6" (average height) and can wear these with a low heel. They fit a little looser so I like to wear a bit shorter top with these so I don't end up looking "sacky". I wear these for dress up with a nice jacket or just with a nice silk blouse. A favorite look is with the quilted silk Eileen Fisher jacket I bought last year.
