I bought my usual small, but these were smaller than expected in the waist. After trying these, I prefer the slim leg style. This style is similar, but they made me look chunky even though I'm 5'6" with long legs. The slim style is more flattering on me. I returned them. I might have liked them better if they were a regular length pant, not ankle or cropped.

Didn't work for me
The fit is quite different than other EF pants I have bought. Very high waist with wide band, This may be fine for some people but it was unflattering to me, so they went back.

Perfect Pants
Length is perfect and nocturne color is lovely. I am 5'9", 150 pounds and wear a size small. I have purchased many stretch crepe pants over the years and I think I like these the most. They aren't the ones of 15 years ago, which were much thicker and wore like steel, but the weight of these is just right for warmer weather. I paired them with an organic cotton jersey round neck tee and wow! Could easily pair with many tops in my wardrobe.

Will definitely buy more of this style. I own a lot of the slim pant style in various colors. I have muscular calves so this style, to me, can appear to look like leggings on me. This style was the were perfect alternative. The relaxed fit is comfortable.

Very comfortable pant.
Slim fitting pant that is very comfortable and easy to dress up or down. The leg opening is just right and very flattering. This is my 3rd pair. I also own the white and ecru.

These pants fit and look great. They will be versatile year around. The straight leg makes me look taller and thinner, a nice middle ground between slim fit and wide leg. Would love to have these in navy and dark gray.

Waistband a problem
I love the way these pants look, just not on me. They have a big stiff elastic waistband, which accentuates my negative and is very uncomfortable. I would love these straight legs with a gentler waistband (like the slim fit crepe pants I have been wearing for years).
A couple of inches longer would be nice too.

My all time favorite Eileen Fisher pants!
The washable stretch crepe straight pants are consistent in sizing and quality of material. This pant is also pretty much wearable year round, depending on the occasion. However, if, like me, you sit a lot they do tend to show bagginess in the knee, but after a stint on a hanger from the ankles, they "pop" back into shape. Plus, they are so-o-o comfortable to wear and the colors are traditional and elegant.

Overall great pants for 3 seasons here
Great pants! Ankle length on me and I'm 5'2". The crepe material is thinner than the EF crepe pants I've owned nearly forever and I miss the heavier fabric but these pants will be really good for 3 seasons. I'd give these 5 stars if the material was like the old material and if the inseam was an inch or so longer. Despite this, I'm happy with my purchase and look forward to more EF pants with this cut, please.

Another iteration of a classic.
This is a new pant shape for me, but it shares, in common, with other Eileen Fisher pants in that it is neat but not tight, wears well and is comfortable, is modern and flattering, is a breeze to care for and looks good with almost anything one wears on top. A wonderful basic.

Great pants
I bought them in size 3X. These pants are made of an excellent fabric, they are comfortable and look good. The only problem is that the waist is bigger in circumference than in years before, in similar styles, so it might be too big for you. The rest of the pants is perfect for this size.
