Extremely disappointing!
This is usually my favorite pant and I probably have more than I need. However, when birthday coupon came along I couldn’t resist this new pair. This pant material and style is not former EF quality. I tried washing and drying to shrink and that did nothing. I am very disappointed!

Something is not right!
Over the years, I have owned a number of this same pant. I especially love the black ones as a foundational piece of my wardrobe. This pair of pants does not fit like the others; it is much bigger and looser. (And sadly, I have definitely not lost weight!) The fabric is decidedly different-thinner, flimsier. The pants are much longer than the others and the waist goes up much higher than what I am used to. I bought this pair in "Woodland" and I do like the color very much. Very disappointed in the quality of fabric and the change in fit.

The GOAT pant, but the material has changed
I’m torn: I ordered these with the slit up the side and while they fit great and seem SIMILAR, the fabric is absolutely thinner as everyone says. I’m willing to try it but as someone who lives in these pants and borderline refuses to wear any other pants, I’m hesitant. I hope they last as long, wear like iron, and go with as many things as they have historically. I think EF should consider changing them back if they haven’t.

New sizing works for me
I’m happy with the new sizing of these iconic crepe pants. In my usual size medium (a pear shaped size 10) these are a good fit. I have a few of these from past seasons and loved them even though they weren’t the best fit for me (medium were too tight and large were too loose). So I’m ready to get more replacements.

Poor quality fabric
Previous pants of this type have held up well for years. Unfortunately, these pants have thinner fabric and a waistband that stretched out after one wash in cold water on delicate.

totally different from previous pair
I bought these pants a few months ago in a size PS and they fit great: tight in the butt, a little loose in the legs. I just bought another pair and these are very loose in the stomach. They also feel thinner. I should have listened to the previous reviewers. These are going right back.

what have you done!!!!!
I bought a pair of these pants a month ago, as always a perfect fit. Yesterday I got 2 more pairs -same size, different colors and they are a totally different fit!!!! I have been buying these pants for many years and have most colors, what have you done to my favorite pants!!!!!

Everything Has Changed
I have been buying and wearing this style for many years and just purchased four new pairs. Both fabric and fit are NOTHING like this style has always been. The crepe feels both stiffer and less substantial (i.e., flimsy). And the sizing is suddenly HUGE. I have not lost weight. For reference, I bought these in two sizes, petite S and regular XS, because I can normally wear both, styled in different ways. In the new pairs, both sizes are baggy and shapeless from waist to hem, bearing no resemblance to those I have been buying since the style was introduced. The reliable, really great-looking, quality pants--repurchased countless times--exist no more. I don't know what is happening at Eileen Fisher these last years, but quality continues to degrade with each season. (Do you think we don't notice?) I am fortunate to be able to invest in clothes of the quality that you have offered in decades past, but I can't/won't throw my money away. Searching for replacements.

A great layering piece
This is the perfect layering piece for jackets and sweaters. The fabric feels soft against the skin. The neck fits snug but not tight.

Changes
I was disappointed to find the change in fabric and hence fit. It is slight, but makes a difference, as I got the famous "Camel Toe" as a result. I've worn these pants for years and years. Still kept these and will wear with tunics.

The fabric on these pants is much lighter than similarly described pants I had purchased in the past. They are Spring and Fall items, much too light for winter in NJ. They do fit well and are comfortable.

Work horse pant
This is a nice fitting pant and I find it very comfortable to wear. I do follow the washing instructions and have never experienced any issues there. Probably the hardest thing in EF clothing is finding the correct size. I received an XS and am just a smidge under 5 ft 4 in and 114 lbs. I am also over age 65. I actually have quite a few of these pants because I find they work well for me.

high waisted pant
Finally the stretch pant with a high waist and long enough that I can wear socks (or not). The high waist can be folded down but I prefer to have it high and hide the muffin top! I am 5'6" at 145lbs and long waisted. I purchased size S. These pants are great for travel. Wash and line dry.

Elegance and Comfort
I LOVE Eileen Fisher clothes! They have saved me from trying to figure out what goes with what. I love that the colors are coordinated and the lengths work together. It makes it possible to "build" a wardrobe over time. I love the clean lines and the textures of the fabrics.

Iris Washable Crepe Pant and Vneck Boxy Top
I purchased the Vneck boxy top in Iris and the washable crepe pant in Iris. The top is a perfect fit and much darker than the pant. The top goes better with my washable crepe pant in Midnight, which pleases me because I love that navy blue and can’t understand why it was ever discontinued. The pant in Iris I will wear with whites.
