Great Pants Run Large
Nice pants but run large! Pants are really comfy and nice looking. They can be elegant or casual. I am usually a M in Eileen Fisher. They were way too long and had extra material in hips. Had to reorder in a S. Much better fit. I like the blue color - kind of a brighter take on navy.

Hooray for truly straight pants!
These are exactly as advertised. Straight, full length. I am 5'3", but my legs are long and these do come all the way down. It has become difficult for me to buy pants from EF since most have bulging thighs, but these are straight and true to their description.

Nice pants (if you’re tall)
EF always has great wide-leg trousers. This pant in washable ponte is a stylish variation on that theme with a comfy wide waistband but sadly these were much too long on me. For reference I am 5’3” and usually wear a size L in EF pants. In my previous reviews I have pleaded for longer inseams but this was simply too long. Holding out hope for a new pair of elegant wide-leg pants that fall into that sweet spot between cropped (which only makes me look shorter) and dragging the floor.

Great Ponte Pants
These are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn! Be aware that they are indeed a wide-leg pant but the fabric drapes beautifully so they are slimming. I am 5'6" tall and will need to hem these pants about an inch which is unusual for Eileen Fisher full-length slacks. All in all, I high recommend these pants for both casual and professional dressing.

not great pants
I was hoping to like these pants as I need something for several upcoming events. I really like the fabric...soft and stretchy. The problem is the fit on me....small in the waist and huge through the legs. I realize the description says "wide-leg", but these are extra extra wide. What happened to the classic designs of years past?? I would be happy with a straight leg, but not to be found.

Beware of quality control
I recently bought these full length pants in an Eileen Fisher brick and mortar store in black xs. I liked them so much that I ordered a second identical pair, online, same size and style but in nocturne. The nocturne was 2 inches longer and one inch wider than the black. I tripled checked the size, model number etc. The quality control and customer service is very lacking. I had a polite and frustrating phone conversation with someone who was not only not helpful but could not wait to end the phone conversation. I have shopped with Eileen Fisher for decades, and the romance may be coming to an end.

Many pluses but wide leg style not flattering
After much pondering I return these pants. (For reference I am older woman, 5'1, 103 pds; pp top and ps bottom.) First, love the full length and have been waiting for this. I have to wear clunky shoes for stability and shorter lengths just don't work. I also like the material and have straight pants from three years ago in this exact same fabric combination. I liked the rise to the waist too; it is very comfortable. And in fact the pant did fit well. The problem was the wide leg style. I fear unless you are slim and reasonably tall it just isn't flattering so I reluctantly returned them. I hope next year EF will consider giving us the pant with the same length, same fabric but in a simple straight leg.

So much to like
If you are looking for a flowing pant with a material that has a little weight to it it, this will be the perfect pant. The legs hang well and feel great. The only downside in my opinion is that the waist is really high. I am 5'7" & long waisted - and still have to fold the waist. The legs are quite long (just above the floor with flats on), so a heel might be required depending on your height.

Beautiful pants; waist stretches a bit.
Love the fabric and the design. The fit isn't bad, but I do better with petite pants. Since these only come in regular, they are a bit long in the stride and length. The only thing I don't like is that they stretch a bit with wear, making them big and baggy after a few hours. It's a full cut anyway, but since the waist was perfect when I first put them on, I hoped it wouldn't stretch and make the pants just too large. I can certainly wear a belt with them even though I haven't worn a belt in years. But they look good enough to tuck in a top, wear a belt, and they look fine. The other option is to have the waist taken in a bit--an expensive option. The fabric is beautiful denim in a perfect shade of gray that will go with just about any other color. The quality is excellent, of course. So while I wouldn't buy a second pair, these will get worn a lot.

Love these, but too short
I love, love, love these pants, but I will probably be returning them. I am 5' 7", and they just are too short. It's not the look I was going for, unfortunately. Other than that, I had been looking for this exact type of pant for over six months and was overjoyed when I found these. I agree with another reviewer, please make a longer option, and please continue making these pants.

Classic Look and Fit!
Every time I wanted to purchase these they were sold out and I finally was able to get them. Fit and style is soooo good and they can be worn dressy or casual. A note to Eileen Fisher......please make this one in a few colors, it's my go to pant in any season.

Classic Style, Excellent Quality, Easy-Care!
First, a general comment: Check the Size Chart and ask advice from the (instant-message) staff person! I was very surprised that I was a Medium, in this brand! I almost returned it, thinking I needed a Large but the staff person was correct. The Medium fit perfectly! It is snug at the high waist, exactly what I was looking for. The fabric is warm enough for winters in the Southern Appalachian Highlands. The fabric is dressy enough for Church, a wedding, or a party. The fabric is washable, in cold water. I tumbled it in the dryer on “Delicate” for a few minutes and the item did not shrink! I searched a long time for this item and it did not disappoint! It is a quality item and worth the price, for “investment” clothing.

My new favorite pants!!
I've been searching for a pair of wide leg pants like this forever. Everything about them is perfect: the length, the drape and weight of the material and they are so easy to style. Most importantly, they are super comfortable. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Nice sturdy fabric
I usually wear a size large but this pant is so roomy, I think I could have gotten a medium. When I looked back at the site, there were none left in medium. I can probably wear the large but is a bit baggy.

Love the full length!!
