Very nice vest!
I looked at this vest online for a while and put it in the cart, but then I couldn't decide if I wanted it and bought the black velvet vest instead. I returned to the website later, thinking I should take another look at this vest, but found that it was no longer available in my size. A few days later, the vest appeared as I scrolled through the sale offerings again and I saw that my size had become available, so I purchased it. Based on the Eileen Fisher size chart, my measurements suggest a size Large, and the size Large in this vest is a perfect fit for me. For size reference: 38DD, hips about 43" and I'm about 5'6".
I will wear this vest over a shirt or knit top because my older arms are no longer youthful.
I thought this vest would add some interest to a silk or linen shirt worn with jeans. Hopefully, it will look OK over an untucked shirt as a layer. I think I saw a quick glimpse of a vest worn over a shirt and under a cardigan in an Eileen Fisher video on Instagram. I liked that layered look.
I like the fabric. I washed the vest by hand in cold water, wrapped it in a dry towel, and then hung it on a hanger to dry. At first, while it was still damp, the vest looked wrinkled, but the wrinkles vanished as the fabric dried.
The larger buttons are a great detail, and the pockets are very nicely designed. The pockets are real, but were stitched closed. I removed the basting stitches to open the pockets.

Cute vest.
Cute vest with a nice heavy weight to go with my straight flex ponte pants or anything else. Definitely not summer wear in South Texas, but it will be a great 3-season piece. I ordered a M, which is roomy, not like the photo. I decided not to send it back for a size S because the look was kind of nice.
I'm giving it 4 stars only because I have not washed it yet and a good laundry outcome is important to a great rating.

Great Basic
Very functional and well made vest. At 5’6”, 120 pounds and 34C, the XXS fit with room for a light shirt beneath. It can easily be worn casually, at work and for more dressy events.

Love the look but the buttons gap if you are trying to wear it with just a bra under it. I took it to a seamstress to add 2 more buttons

Classic tailoring and beautifully made
I have been looking for a vest that will work year-round and here it is! So well made, fit is perfect weather buttoned up and worn over a tank top with trousers or, layered over a dress or sweater and left casually unbuttoned. This is an essential to my travel wardrobe, thank you!

Perfect for Fall
This little black vest is exactly what I've been hoping to find for many years. It's an easy way to
refresh a simple dress, shirt and pants, or shirt and skirt ensemble with extremely minimal
