Lantern ankle pant. Size PP in black.
great for traveling. No wrinkles. The material is nice and smooth, not flimsy and the pants holds it's shape beautifully. Size PP fits perfectly since I'm 5 ft 1".

The Flex Ponte Lantern pants look very elegant and stylish on and are comfortable to wear. Great for day or evening. I normally wear a size medium in Eileen Fisher pants but had to size down to a small for these.

Well-placed pockets distinguish the lantern pant
The positioning of the side seam towards the front with inseam pockets creates a flattering line. The Ponte fabric and drape are comfortable. I give 4 stars because the lantern style, for me, is the only one of EF pant styles that require tailoring. The hip area is voluminous, requiring several inches of fabric to be removed for a tailored silhouette.

Love the Lantern
I love the shape of the lantern pant. They are comfortable to wear in the ponte. However, my problem (and it is a me problem) is the length. I am absolutely grateful that EF offers petite sizes but at 5’2” I feel that the ponte version could be an ½ inch or an inch longer. Sometimes, they feel a little like high waters. Does it stop me from wearing them, no.

Great pants, just not for me
Sadly, I could not make these work for me. The PS was too short and the S was too big all over. I love the color, fabric and style but apparently this EF piece just isn’t for me. I took one star off just because of my frustration that a P size would be too short for my 5’3” frame. EF, I love ankle length pants but I think your P sizes are cut just a little too short. Maybe aim for 26 1/2” instead of 25 1/2 “?

Nice but stretches too much during wear.
Lovely fit but stretches out a LOT during day, which is a recent change with EF I am certainly finding. Great length as well. I would order a size down so they aren’t baggy by lunch time. I’m finding this issue consistently with recent EF purchases so whatever has changed it is unfortunate as prices have skyrocketed for poorer quality.

Stylish and comfortable pants
Once again these pants are a win. I’ve been buying the lantern pant since it was introduced and love the fit. I am 5’2” and 138lb and wear a size 8p or PM in EF pants. Lantern pants are a wonderful cross between wide leg and fitted pants. I have in light weight denim and linen and now these. Highly recommend

My new favorites!
These pants are incredibly comfortable! They are slimming, but not clingy. Easy to dress up or down. Took these on a short trip, wore them more than my jeans! I wore them with ballet flats, sneakers, sweaters, t shirts, blouses. I am apple shaped, carry weight in my middle, in my 60s but don’t want to dress like an old lady! Worth every penny

The Reviews Are Correct, These Are Wonderful Pants
Everything is a home run on these beauties. The fabric... soft and lush while being thick enough to have amazing drape. My regular size fits perfectly. The pockets are placed in a flattering place and we all love pockets! The length hits my ankle right were it should. These pants are very flattering and I can even tuck a shirt in and my tummy looks flat. The cut of these pants look good with EF short, cropped tops/sweaters and straight thigh length sweaters.

Flex Ponte Lantern Pant
I have two pair of these pants. The first ones were purchased a few years ago and the second pair about a year ago.
The first pair are perfect in length. The second pair are about an inch shorter. I am a tall woman and need the length. I won't be buying anymore at this length.

Perfect pants!
I love the fit and feel of these black ponte pants and they are easy to care for and are good travel wear. I’ve generally not been a fan of knit pants but these never look stretchy or misshapen and keep that sharp, dare I say elegant look, throughout the day or night. I feel confident and well dressed when I wear them and the lantern shape is perfect for my curvy body. They were worth the price just to feel truly comfortable in even those trying situations.

Lantern pant perfection
Best shape ever, hits in all the right spots, figure forming, but not at all tight. Length hits at the ankle making them cuter than a boring ankle pant. Hangs nicely on the body, does cling or bag.

Sleek comfortable pants for all occasions
While they are a bit heavy, they hide any imperfections and are great for all occasions. Feel like wearing sweatpants but look like svelte trousers. They shrink if you put them in the dry so follow the mfg directions and don’t do that! I’m 5’3” and weigh 126. I bough size S and put them in the dryer to shrink a bit. A PS or PM would have worked about the same I suspect.
