better than the lantern pant
This style is better on my than the lantern pant. less voluminous in odd places, more sleek but gives the same look... I like the pocket placement MUCH better also, the lantern pant pockets are too far forward on the pant to be pretty and functional. This particular ponte iteration of the Arch pant is thick and feels quality; like the "old EF" we knew and loved

cool and comfy
I didn't expect to buy pants when I did but when I tried them on, they immediately felt comfortable and totally at ease. Plus, given the shape and styled with sneakers, I think they are versatile and have a trendy edge to them. Definitely would recommend.

What I wish the arch pant really was
I love the waistband. to lies flat and is comfortable. I love the fabric, it is so polished. But the legs are as voluminous as the version of the lantern pants. I am very sad about this, as I was looking for a more tailored pant that allows for a less skinny leg to look good. I would like Eileen Fisher to return a narrow ankle, easy fit leg that doesn't require a "pantaloon" approach. Occasionally, EF does this version but then it disappears fast.

Stylish barrel
I have been looking for a pair of barrel style pants that don’t make me look square. These pants fit the bill. They are a trendy style look great and are still comfortable.
