It is true to size NOT oversized. Great fit for we short waited gals. Nice fit in the shoulders and chest with flare at the bottom.

Love, LOVE this gorgeous top!
This top is a beautiful piece. I hesitated to buy another velvet thing, thinking it would be tooo dressy & not worn much. But after I got it home, I realized it could be worn with my latest cashmere sweatpants, in a sort of peacock color! Wow. Since so many said it runs small, I got a PS instead of my usual PP, and mine is plenty roomy; the PP would've probably been fine. The sleeves are a bit long (yes, I'm a munchkin), but when I turn the cuff up once, it reveals the silk side of the velvet & exactly matches the cashmere pants! Lucky me - no sewing required. I love the deep darkness of the color & am very happy with it; can't wait to wear it for an elegant but casual occasion (if I ever get to go anywhere...!)

Wonderful fabric and coloration.
The top fits perfectly - but I would suggest going up one size to give it a little more more flare.

Yummy Holiday Top.

Love this Top, Beautiful Color Too!
I bought this at the Eileen Fisher store in the Green Hills Mall, Nashville, TN. The salesperson (was remiss in not getting her name) was very helpful and suggested I go up a size as there is no stretch to velvet fabric. I added a longer similar color tank top for a layered look and wore it to a work Xmas party. Very, very please with my purchase, btw I taught textiles at the college level and this is a quality velvet.

Not a good look or feel
The velvet is more like crushed velvet - rough to the feel. The drape is not fluid so might feel more like a maternity top. I returned it.

Nice Holiday Top
I bought this in cranberry in my usual size. It was tight in arms and across chest. Note the length in the description, it runs shorter. The cranberry was darker than in the picture. The gray is a beautiful color (lighter than the picture). I might just get that in a larger size although a larger size might not fit my neckline correctly. Nice round neckline that will enhance jewelry for the Holidays
