Shabby and shapeless
The fabric is so thin, felt shabby and almost see through. Plus it feels slippery on my skin. I ordered a small and it was too big and shapeless. Not worth the price. I happily returned it.

Rumpled!?!
I love velour but I received this piece rumpled, crumpled, and very wrinkled like it was previously returned. Or is there someone wrong with the packaging? Velour should have been protected and packaged well in a box. This velour shirt came in flat paper envelope. It was too much work pressing and steaming out the wrinkles for something new. And too much trouble to return in the mail.

I bought the XXS because that's all that was left but it fits beautifully and feels elegant, even with jeans. Way too expensive for me unless it's on sale but I'm happy I found it.

Good looking shirt

Beautiful colors, too short
I feel this year's velvet shirt is too short in the body. The colors and fabric are beautiful, as usual, and I'm happy to see a traditional back yoke (as opposed to the shirred back, which I wasn't a fan of). But, I returned this shirt because I like my shirts to hit below my butt -- this one cuts right across my hips at the widest part of me. Super unflattering.

Beautiful and luxurious
I got this shirt in black to wear as a shirt and a jacket. The fit is TTS and a bit more generous. The velvet is just sumptuous. I loved the shirt so much I also bought it in cassis and it is just stunning. I know I'll have these lovely shirts for years. Thank you to Eileen Fisher.

I like the style and fabric. There is something not quite right about the fit across the back. I ordered my normal size which is a large but when I try it on, it feels as if the back wasn't cut wide enough. All of the other EF classic shirts I order in large fit me nicely but this one does not.

Stunning velvet shirt!
Quite possibly one of my favorite EF pieces. A true EF customer for many many years. The petite collar, the shorter length the cute cut! Velvet can be overwhelming at times but this is not. Very feminine and luxurious. Satin skirt, chunky loafers and I'm set.

Stunning shirt
Nobody does velvet like Eileen Fisher! Luscious fabric and fine tailoring. This was a splurge for me but I know I will feel great wearing it for years to come. Pair it with everything from jeans to a satin skirt. I love the sweet plum color because it has a festive feel without screaming “holiday.” Fit is generous. Machine washable. My only complaint is that it isn’t offered in petite sizes.
