Festive for holidays ( or relaxing at home)
I bought this in a petite size. I am 5ft 3in tall.It’s a perfect length for leggings or pants and wonderful to have long sleeves that aren’t too long. I hate feeling like a little kid dressing up in grown up clothes and sleeves that fit are really nice. I wish EF offered all long sleeved items in petite sizes. I also appreciate that it comes out of the dryer ready to wear

Beautiful fabric
I love the EF velvets, even if this year's version seems snug at the shoulders. The continued "narrow at the shoulders, wide at the hips" cut just doesn't work for me in the non-stretch fabrics. Further, the sleeves were too short in the XL, as has been the norm for the past several years. I purchased Nocturne, but returned it for the reasons above, as well as finding the color to be muddier than I'd expected.

Always Appreciate EF's Machine Washable Velvets
Eileen Fisher brings us velvets which are both beautiful and machine washable, a convenience which I really appreciate. BTW, had expected to see more blue in the color called Nocturne, which appears more deep gray to my untrained eye, so returning it reluctantly.
