Lovely shirt, Meteor is a tricky colour
This shirt is well-cut. I ordered the Meteor colour. It is fitted nicely around the shoulders, gathered beautifully in the back, then it hangs loose at the bottom, with the side slits elongating the legs and creating movement. The sewing is well done and the velvet is just gorgeous. The only thing that threw me off was the colour. It isn't a neutral grey. It has a strong magenta tint to it. Once I noticed it, it was all I could see. I am not sure I would pair this particular grey with black (most of my bottoms are black). I'm still on the fence about keeping it. It's beautiful, but it may not work with most of my wardrobe. For sizing reference: I ordered in in XS. I'm 5'7," 115lbs. I'm an XS in EF tops and XXS in EF pants.

This was a beautiful shirt. However, it was not available in my usual size small so I thought I would chance and order an XS. Unfortunately, it was a little too tight across the shoulders. The body was very generously sized.

Velvet Band Collar Long Shirt Sweet Plum
I purchased this shirt on sale in Sweet Plum. I already own the same style in other colors. It may be worn with black velvet items, or silk and look dressy for the holidays! The shirt may be open over a camisole or worn on its own. I also own a coat in the same color.

I love this velvet shirt in meteor.
I love this long velvet shirt in meteor. It’s an amazing clear bright gray. Fitted shoulders yet forgiving through the waist and hips. It feels so nice and looks great on. I couldn’t pull off the darker velvets but look dreamy in this lighter shade. Generous cut as expected from EF.
