Inferior quality, weird seam
The velvet fabric was very thin and felt cheap. Again, Eileen Fisher clothing appears to be centered on designs that are cheaper to manufacture. Please bring back the Italian fabrics. Prices keep going up while quality goes down since the company was sold. EF is all I wear. It hurts my heart to see this happening. The shoulder seam Has a weird bump where the sleeve attaches.

Velvet Ballet Next Box-Top
The Velvet Ballet Neck Box Top arrived timely & well packaged. I ordered an XS as Eileen Fisher garments run very large (I'm 5'6" tall, 123 lbs.). I like the top, however the sleeves are so long (down to my finger knuckles) that I had to have a seamstress shorten the sleeves. So even though I got the top on sale, the price of the alteration upped the total cost.
