The perfect cut of denim
I absolutely adore the cut of these pants. I ordered an extra small because my usual size small was not available, so glad I did. The small would have been way to big. I’d say the XS is also just a tad big but I think the xxs would have been too snug. I love that these fit my waist without gaping and also hug my derrière but then drape beautifully away from thighs. A truly perfect cut. For reference, I’m a 28” waist, 38.5” full hip, 5’4” and weigh 135lbs. I wear mine cuffed but that’s just a style preference. I will say that the cotton does break in throughout the day causing them to get a tad bigger with wear but they snap back into place after washing. I tend to only wash mine after wearing them 5-8 times. I hope EF will continue to make these fine pants and I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE if they came in a true, pure white. Fingers crossed for next season but these will get me through the fall transition and winter months for sure.

Very cute pants
I would have rated these higher except that they are too long (do not come in petite sizes) so that's another expense to get them hemmed. Other than that I'm very happy with them. Although the lantern cut is not the best look for me (just too much leg fabric!), I love the cut and I hope that hemming will make them look neater and less sloppy. I recommend sizing down as they run large. I'm normally a 4P or 6P, but the 2R is a very good fit (except for the length). I love the fabric and I think it will be light enough for Houston summers. I wish these came in the wonderful EF dark denim.

What happened to petite sizing?
I've purchased 5 pairs of these pants since they were offered. I love the, great fit, easy to wash & dry & can be worn many different ways. They are very flattering. Unfortunately I only have 2 pairs with me for the summer so thought I'd purchase more. I sign on the site, no petites. This isn't the first item it's happened to either. I wear petite medium and have been buying since Eileen Fisher opened the petite store. Are you no longer selling petites? There seem to be less & less items in Petites.

Fabulous Pant!
I absolutely love this pant! Great fit and fabric, very flattering, and looks great with EF's shorter tops. I'm an XS or a S in EF's pants, and I purchased an XS in this one. They launder beautifully and tend to stretch out a bit at the knees after a couple of wearings, but are still a good fit overall. For reference, I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs. I hope more reviewers will include their height and weight in their reviews, as they are most helpful in choosing the correct size. Your height without your weight tells me nothing and vice versa with weight and no height.

This cut is so comfortable and flattering. The pant is well made and the fabric is soft. I haven’t washed them so I don’t know if they will shrink —hope not.

Great choice for Spring!
EF lantern pant is a go-to reliable fit. I am 5ft 4in and 114 lb. The women’s small size is always a perfect fit. I love the fabric in this style. The color and style make this pant versatile enough to wear with a variety of tops and shoe styles.
