Cardigan beautiful, shell not
Beautiful color and fabric. The color brownstone is unusual enough that you definitely want the shell that goes with it. She’ll was extremely full and loose and not flattering with the cardigan so I returned both. Fit on the cardigan was normal.,

Beautiful fabric
I ordered the cardigan in XXS, my usual size with EF and it fits perfectly. I love the color (brown) and the fabric. The fabric is fine merino wool, but it has enough weight to drape beautifully and to keep me warm in Wisconsin winters.

Nice basic but doesn't match other "Brownstone"
Not special but a nice basic, if it's on sale. Brownstone color is lovely -- but be warned that it does NOT match the Brownstone of the silk cami or the crepe pants. (The cardigan is a different shade from the pants or the silk tops, and the clash; it would be nice if EF would give the same names only to colors that go together, to avoid confusion.).

Beautiful cardigan
Beautiful Brownstone. The fabric is exceedingly soft. I wish for more in this color but my size is sold out in other items. Petite Small usually works for me. I also have this sweater in a blue/green. Lovely colors and style.

I wanted the brownstone to go with the brownstone wool dress. I am disappointed that the browns do not match, one is a different shade that is obvious, luckily i also ordered the serape and it is the same matching shade.

Love the long cardigan but not the color!
I have a few of the long cardigans in my wardrobe and love how easy it is to wear. I ordered this and the tank to go with the brownstone pants. Unfortunately the pants are dark brownstone and the cardigan is brownstone. Very disappointed that they aren't a matched set.

Luscious.
I've been looking for years to replace an Eileen Fisher cardigan in machine washable wool (where has that gone??). I wore it for so many years that it finally wore out. I tried many that came along, but none were as good as the old one. This one is very close!! the fabric is luscious, and the fit and simplicity are perfect. My only concern is that it isn't quite as warm as the old one. I also fear that it won't wear as well or as long, but only time will tell. Meanwhile I'm delighted.

I bought this because the straighter cut really works for me. I like the drape and movement of it. It doesn't overwhelm like some cuts do. I'm 5'5" and about 117 lbs. Took my usual XS and it worked well. I really wish I could get this in bone. I often go monochrome and I'd love to have a cardigan like this that would go with my bone pieces. This photo doesn't really do it justice, but I thought I'd add it anyway.

Wonderful, wear with everything cardigan
Wonderful addition to the system! The proportions are just right with slim, straight and wide bottoms. The fabric is soft and luscious; the drape is elegant. I liked the fit best one size up from my usual EF size, to emphasize the elegant movement of the fabric and cut. The arms are still slim enough to look lean. I have long arms and cuff the quite long sleeves to my most flattering length. They stay put! I’m enjoying it best with silk shells and tunics and a variety of pants. It’s keeping me warm too.

Almost perfect
Very nice material and well fitted shape. The side vents make it a bit less streamlined and more informal than I was looking for at this price point; I returned and may repurchase if it goes on sale.
