Very comfortable and good looking
This dress can be casual and yet go places other dresses cannot. I would recommend purchasing it. The quality of the fabric is one of the selling points. I bought a large but usually wear mediums in Eileen Fisher and am glad I did.

great dress - beware sizing
I love this dress; tunics, LS tee's in this same material were always an "L" for me. This dress is rather tight across the bust - had I never washed it, the sizing was fine. I did size up to an XL, which will be fine. I have been running into a problem with L and XL sizing; what LS tees (L) in the fall, absolutely do not fit in spring. Does EF think women's busts do not change shape/size as we, ahem, get older???

so wearable--a great staple
Comfy enough to wear around the house but looks pulled together with a scarf or jacket. At first I thought too shapeless, but it skims the body and hits me right at the knee in petite. Navy is classic for spring, often more flattering than black, and goes with a lot: beige, pink, orange, black, white... this dress has made itself completely at home in my wardrobe.

To me, this outfit/style gives a nod to the effortless grace of Asian cultures...and I love it!!! I bought the dress and leggings in black and midnight....wish it came in graphite, too. I love the stretchy cotton fabric, but learned from the same-fabric t-shirts that I need to go a size up to avoid clingy-ness.I wear an M but bought the dress in L...wonderful, swingy fit! (If you are super skinny or like your fit tight, then you are ok) LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
PS I like the length just fine...below the knee, but never dowdy.

I love the look of this outfit on the model---the shorter dress over the skinny pants, but it does not look like this on me! Even the petite length was longer on me than on the model in the photo, and I found the fabric a bit too clingy. I could probably have sized up, but then I really wouldn't have liked the length.
This one is going back.

Gorgeous fit and fabric
This is my first EF purchase and won't be my last. The fit is so flattering for curves and the material is a nice quality.
