My new favorite shorts!
A previous reviewer stated that one should not rate the shorts prior to trying them on. She was exactly correct. I decided to order the shorts based upon that review. I was underwhelmed when I removed them from the package; however, when I tried them on I was very impressed with the fit and the drape of the fabric. My new favorite shorts.

Great Shorts
These shorts are so comfy and just the right length. As with many EF items, don't judge when you first see them out of the bag - put them ON! At first glance they reminded me of the polyester shorts my aunt used to wear in the '70s. And then I put them on and fell in love.

Great new comfortable shorts
I loved these so much, I ordered two more pairs. First I got a size Small, my usual EF size, but they were too baggy. So I exchanged them for Extra Small, which was perfect. I now have three pairs of XS. They are my summer uniform, comfortable and cool.

Disappointing Shorts
I love the fabric these shorts are made from and I like the length which is most comfortable for sitting down, especially on leather in the summer. I do not like the wide waistband which is too small for a true- to- size fit. The waistband does not have enough stretch and functions like a rubber band causing midriff bulge. I am going to have to have these altered and change out the waistband.

Fantastic but sold out way too fast.
They are true knee length, pull on comfort with style. Legs taper but are forgiving for ample thighs. The only problem is they sold out almost immediately, and this has happened in previous years with shorts. Does Eileen fisher track which items sell out quickly in order to make more the following season? These feel like they should be a year round staple.

These are the most comfortable shorts I own. Big on comfort without skimping on style. I received them, I loved them and I tried to order another pair right away, but they were already sold out. I can understand why! I’m 5’ 1” tall and 112 lbs and the petite small are perfect.

Wonderful shorts, very versatile
These soft cotton black shorts are very comfortable, just the right length, has pockets, an elastic waist and fits well with the help of the back darts. These longer shorts are part of my new favorite summer outfit for the hotter days. It looks well with all kinds of tops simple or dressy and hasn't wrinkled while wearing.The only improvement I can think of is to ask for more colors.
