Love these pants!!
Just like all my other EF pieces these pants are amazing. I bought my usual size - PM in white and love them. I have another pair of EF white lantern pants that are a heavier cotton and these are much lighter in weight - perfect for the hot South Florida summers. As always, great designs, beautiful fabrics, excellent quality and customer service.

I love this lantern style mostly cotton pant with side pockets. I have two colors so far, and will buy more in the future.
I purchased the xxs even though I’m only 5’2” because it has a 27 inch inseam which is perfect for me. The petite would be shorter than I’d wear, I don’t do a 25 inch pant, ever!
I’ve washed these pants multiple times on cold gentle and hung to dry. They came out well.
Please do short sleeved tees IN PETITE to go with these pants!

Super comfortable
These are my second pair of lantern pants from EF and I this cut fits me much better. The fabric is substantial, but not heavy. Haven't washed them yet, so no comment there.

Lovely Lantern Pants
These complimentary lantern pants wash well, do not shrink when washed in cold water. No drying needed . . . simply hang to dry and wrinkles (in any) disappear within a couple of hours! The perfect pant to dress up or down.

Hopefully a good basic staple
These pants fit me well in the waist and hips but are long since I am short and they did not come in petites which I do need in pants. But I will keep them since I have wanted to try the lantern style pants. The material is a good weight to give the pants some shape and drape yet not too heavy for warm weather. I do hope I continue to like the style after wearing it awhile.

Very comfortable
The pants i received didn't seem new.. they had either been worn, or maybe just tried on multiple times.. so took a star off for that. However, the pants are comfortable and I like the look, so will keep.

Flat front lantern pant is elegant!
In the washable stretch crepe slim ankle pant, and other EF slim cut garments,I wear a size large, but in an easy fit, medium is better for me. I couldn't be happier with these lantern pants! They fit perfectly and the front and back seam placement and flat front are very flattering. I love the pockets :-) I had been concerned that the fullness of the leg would look sloppy, but instead I find they look surprisingly graceful and elegant. Rather remarkable for a cotton jersey pant! I have laundered these and took them out of the (low setting) dryer just before they were completely dry, gave them a good shake, and hung them to finish drying. Perfect - ready to wear again!

Great pants but..
Beautiful soft fabric and the white ones are great for summer but the fabric is so thin you can completely see the pockets. I almost returned them but kept them and wear a longer shirt. Disappointing, but they are so soft and comfy.

these are nice pants. Smooth fitting. I like the pocket addition, and the waist elastic isn't too constricting. I'd like to see these in a wider cut like some older versions.

Wonderful spring/summer pants. Very comfortable fabric, love the ankle length and fit. I bought the Butter color, and it’s a refreshing change of pace. Pairs well with matching tops (which I purchased), as well as white or khaki/tan tops.

Just received these in Ocean and on sale and I’m so happy with the fabric (super soft), color (beautiful muted grayish blue), and fit. I’ve learned that I’m a medium in slim fitting EF pants and otherwise a small, so always order small in the lantern style. I’ll get a ton of wear out of these and would buy again in any similarly rich jewel tone color.

Winner pants for summer long pants.
Having lived in Eileen’s clothing for most of my adult life (really!), I have become a student of her fabrics which range from good to awful. The fabric in these pants is a 5 star winner. Eileen does lightweight cotton well. Size down. I have two colors.

Return to the original type of pocket
I love the style and the material of the pants, but I don't like the pockets. You've changed the pockets recently, and now they're flush with the seam of the pants. Every time I walk, the pockets bulge out and it's not very flattering. I'll be returning the pants.

Have been searching for nice fitting white jersey pants and these fit beautifully! I agree with the review about the pockets showing through on the front. A nude color fabric for the pockets that didn't show through and these pants would be excellent! Still deciding whether to keep them.....

White is totally sheer
White is way more sheer in person than it appears on model. You can see the interior rectangles of the pocket in pure crisp detail, it's so awful. I don't know why brands don't consider this sort of thing when making white pants, honestly do any of us ladies WANT to wear sheer pants?? I think not.

Very nice!
Love the lantern style of these pants. Bought them in the black and like them. Decided to order them again in the ocean but one size down and this was a good decision. They fit loose and fabric stretches. Such a beautiful fabric, soft and comfortable. I wash them on delicate with gentle detergent and drip dry them to keep them looking new. Very happy with my purchase.

SIMPLE & COMFORTABLE
l LOVE THESE PANTS! Bought them in black. This is my first pant purchase with EF and not sure of how sizing would go. I ordered my usual size - L. I could probably have gone with a M but so love the way they slip on so easily and were comfortable right from the start. The fabric feels wonderful against my skin. I could wear these pants from morning to night and never think that I want to change into more comfy clothes when I get home. I have already ordered another pair in Ocean. I have found my forever pant!

Wonderful fabric, bad fit
After reading a previous review about the weird pocket placement, I bought small and medium pants. These pants do not have a true side seam. The pocket is part of a flat felled seam that is about 2 inches to the front of a normal side seam. This placement is not flattering to my body and I certainly would not use the pocket. The medium size has too much back and leg fabric for me. Will keep the small and wear it with a longer top.

Weird fit, not like the previous version at all
I loved the previous pant in this style, the length was perfect and the pockets were well placed. This new version is longer and it seems that the pockets have been moved forward even more than before, which makes it look very awkward. I sure wish EF could be more consistent with their styles that have very similar if not the same description from season to season but which in reality are completely different pants. These are going back.

PLEASE put some sort of adjustment or drawstring on some of your pants. And especially the lantern style. Women’s bodies change ALL THE TIME and some of us don’t want any pressure across our middles. We rather just adjust or pants to current comfortable size using a drawstring or something more even creative that I’m sure the designers can do.
I’m having a hard time agreeing with the marketing that these items can last years because a woman’s sizing changes back and forth during and through the year. Gain a pound or lose a pound and I still want the SAME pants to fit. I don’t want to BUY more pants when these ones could be adjustable. It would be more environmentally friendly and would use LESS resources if we could just just ADJUST the WAIST of our pants.
I’ve spent the last year trying on both petite S and XS/SM the sizes are NEVER CONSISTENT. A solution would be to make the WAIST ADJUSTABLE. I’ve made, and I’m sure I’m not alone, sooooo many RETURNS due to SIZING.
For the love of god help us gals out and make at least a few lantern pants adjustable.
