Best of the season
I have to echo all the positive reviews on this jacket. The fabric is more substantial than I expected, which is a good thing because it holds its shape. The fit is just right in my usual medium (size 10). The color and texture work well with my mostly black, gray and navy wardrobe. I think this will be a really versatile piece to travel with, working with so many different other pieces and settings.

Fabulous Fabric
Incredible Fabric. Had my eye on this all season + purchased on sale. Can't wait to wear next Spring. Classic lines with artsy fabric, can look polished or whimsical. Wear to dinner, wear to the studio!

Beautiful fabric
I chose this jacket in size XL because I like long loose jackets with a lot of flowing fabric.
In general, I've found that EF jackets in size XL fit me better, even though the EF size chart indicates that I am a size L.
This jacket is similar to other EF jackets that I have -- loose unstructured robe-like -- but this jacket's fabric is unusual. The darker stripes have a texture and sheen that is different from the background fibers, and overall the deep indigo color fabric has an almost handwoven character (it reminds me of rustic Japanese or African textiles). I really like the robe-like character of this casual jacket and its graceful length, loose sleeves, and patch pockets.
I have only one critical comment and I think it is important mention this detail:
The jacket is constructed with interior seams that have a narrow binding folded and sewn over the raw fabric edges of the seam allowances, which is a beautiful and refined detail. However, the garment that I received had several poorly sewn seams, some of which were threatening to unravel on the inside of the jacket. In some places the seam binding was not properly sewn along the edges of the seams. It looked as if the person who sewed the jacket was not careful. I didn't want to return the jacket and then not find another one in my size, so instead I chose to repair the seams by hand with a needle and thread. My repairs are not visible, and I hope the other seams will hold. Otherwise, the jacket is very nice and I very much look forward enjoying it!
Deep indigo is so wonderful to wear with black, and bright colors, too: orange, red, magenta...

Great Versatile Jacket for
This jacket is so easy to wear any place. The fabric is beautiful. It’s very flattering for all body types. I bought the XXS for myself and the L for my daughter. It looks great on both of us.

Elegant Jacket for Summer
This jacket is a very good option for summer, especially if you want to balance the width of your shoulders and hips (real women figure). The fabric texture is intricate, the stile - elegant. My favorite details - pockets for convenience, and slit on the back that makes the jacket the more interesting and classic. I hope the jacket will not be too wrinkle and will keep the elegant look while worn.

love it!
This is a classic, in my opinion one of the best pieces of the season. I was afraid it might be too bathrobe-y but not at all. The vibe is much more Japanese. The ink/black textured heavy linen is super interesting and structural while still moving nicely. It is super versatile and could be dressed way up with silk pants or extremely casual (I tried it on with fitted cargo pants and loved it). Color-wise, I literally can't imagine anything it wouldn't enhance.
The jacket will be good to wear well into fall in the Northeast (or I imagine through the winter in the South). It's hard for me to imagine it on a petite woman, but it's certainly worth trying.

Love everything about this beautiful jacket. The Indigo color is rich and deep, the striped weave adds texture and further depth with black, the drape is graceful, the cut is easy and comfortable. Overall, it conveys the brand's Japanese vibe subtly, without any suggestion of imitation. My usual size fits perfectly.

Textured jacket
My friend who I bought it for loved it. In particular she liked the texture and the way it hung on her. I vacillated on the size but in the end chose correctly. I bought medium which was perfect. My friend is around 5-10 inches and slender. I was afraid the sleeves would be short but they were just fine.

Beautiful Jacket
This is one of my favorite jackets of the season. Love the fabric and indigo color. Works well with jeans and slacks. Very versatile. Can be dressed up or down. Fit is true to size with enough room to layer a long sleeve top underneath. Can be worn now and into the fall.

Loving this fabric!
I love this jacket, goes with so many pcs I have, blends so well. It's very comfortable, love the pockets! I went up a size (busty), fits great. Very happy, thank you for plus sizes! This fabric is so soft and interesting! I think it looks great with the ''ink'' puckered linen pcs I also just rec'd. Love that it's so practical with the pockets, but yet so special with the fabric.
