Great fabric makes great pants.
Love these pants. Linen and Tercel combo fabric makes pants fall nicely and move effortlessly. I’m short so this length falls to ankle nicely

ridiculous pockets
When will Eileen Fisher learn to use a neutral fabric for pockets in white pants? I, and so many of my friends have purchased and returned because of the ridiculous looking pockets. They truly look ghastly. This year I finally ordered white linen pants from Vince and Lafayette. So grateful to have found designers that use nude fabric for pockets in white pants. I know all skin colors are not the same. But a nude colored fabric is better than white any day. I even went so far as to ask two different Eileen Fisher employees (one in Kansas City on the plaza and one in Edina Mn) why she insists in putting bright white pockets in white pants. They both said they do not know. They both said that is why they never buy them. Please consider using a neutral colored fabric in your pockets.

Perfect pants for mild weather
I love these pants. I appreciate the waist-level rise and the narrow waistband. Legs are full but not too full. I am a big fan of linen, and this linen blend has a lovely texture and sheen. They washed beautifully on cold and I hung them to dry. No ironing needed. Liked them so much I went back and bought 3 more pair and the matching jacket on sale. I am a creature of habit and when I find a basic I really like I stock up! I will wear them in spring and summer. They are perfect for a milder climate. I would love to see them in navy or brown next season, I would snap them up.
My 3 level value rating is for the full price. On sale they were a steal.

Linen/tencel pieces on sale multiple websites
Attractive on websites, but in real time were not values. Were cold and did not have feel good quality of other EF garments. Happy to find and buy matching blazer, but still made no difference in my lack of affinity. Couldn't say it was a quality issue, but perhaps a factor as it has been a while since purchase and return.
