Ponte with a slim fit
The fabric and style is a hybrid between historical EF ponte pant and EF leggings. The fabric is soft, durable and comfortable and the fit is slim. An excellent choice to pair with long tops and sweaters.

Bring Back the thicker, warmer ponte pants
I am a faithful, longtime Eileen Fisher consumer and I continue to be disappointed in the changes with materials being offered over the past couple years. They look and feel cheaper yet they are costing more money. What happened to the wonderful thicker ponte slim pant that was "the black pants" that lasted forever and were warm in NE winters and always held their shape, etc. I have purchased all of the "ponte" pants offered currently on the EF website and the material is shiny and thin and definitely not of the quality that they were for so many years. So very disappointed in the direction EF is going with this "flex" material and other fabrics that are being offered at ridiculous prices. Please bring back the nice thick higher quality pants for cooler/cold weather for us NE gals.

This is my favorite pant! Slim fit, comfortable, easy care. They can dress up or down. I wish they came in other colors!

Bad Fit
I ordered these in a PP and XXS and ended up returning them both. The PP has a very low cut waist and was really unwearable for a 74 year old woman and the XXS, while better in the rise, were too long for me and I do not have access to an alteration person at this time.

No sizes available!!
I would love to purchase these pants, but you are clearly out of stock in every size. Can you do a backorder for a size XL? I need full length, tapered, black pants. 99% of your pants are ankle length. Way too short for a very tall woman. Don;t forget the tall gals!!

Excellent fabric
I bought these when I realized the material is the same as a pair of EF pants I bought about 4-5 yrs ago snd are my favorites practically all year long. These are a bit thicker (or perhaps newer) but still have luxurious feel and look perfect. They can be dressed up or down. They seemed a bit snug in the crotch area, but saleswoman at Columbus Circle EF told me many pants are designed to be a bit below the waist. Almost returned them but wore this week anyway - I got them on sale too:-) - and am very glad I didn’t return. They felt fine. I got XS - usual size - and at 5’ 7” they reach my ankles with a bit more fabric, so perfect in flats (don’t scrape) and would be fine in heels (but I don’t wear heels).
