Very low rise
I really liked the fabric, the slim fit, and the length. The rise was ridiculously low, making them pretty much unwearable for me.

Another perfect EF pant
I bought these for travel and I'm so happy with them. They will replace the slim jeans which always ride down when I sit. These stay in place so comfortably and look great with a longish top. Love 'em!

Top Drawer...literally
I bought these today in an XS I am 5'6" slim-hipped, 34.5" but I have a 29" waist, so I am not exactly curvy, my solution I wear an expensive ( as in $18) polyester but a dead ringer for matte silk it's not quite a tunic, I tuck it in, blouse it, sling a belt at the hips so it gives the illusion of a rounded hip. This replaces a pair of Wolford good lucking similar fabric but these are far superior and have some 'breathing room in the groin, more lady-like.
I am fast becoming a diehard E.F. fan, the saleslady, Khaleda at the Water Tower store in Chicago is so helpful, patient, and gives me her honest opinion. The customers in E.F. are also very reliable in terms of their opinions which I love. This store makes me feel like I am part of the family and at 67 it is such a joy to feel wanted and among like-minded, well brought up customers. The well-mannered civility which seems to have gone the way of the Ford Model-T could certainly do with more of that in our retail landscape...no matter because E.F is an oasis of calm elegance. I am delighted with the attention to detail, the welcoming, warm manner in which I am always greeted.

System stretch pointe slim pant
These pants are perfect….slim fitting but not a legging. The material is soft and the elastic waist is smooth. They are great travel pants.

Forever pants!!

Second Time's the Charm...

Pants for older women who want to look young.
I usually don't write reviews but this one is necessary for helping other's in my pant situation. I have never paid nearly two hundred dollars for a pair of pants but these are so worth it and I plan on buying another pair. I have had a pair of these without the wonderful addition of the pockets I bought from Eileen Fisher Store. I would have given them 11 stars too.These pants make me look like I have a great shape. I am 68 and do not have a great shape. I teach yoga and work with much younger women like less than half my age. They have such cute little shapes. I will like a blob until I found Eileen Fisher pants.

Fabulous fabric!
A little long, I’m 5’6”, but the fabric is fabulous. Easy to put together a polished look for the office, or drinks on the weekend with tunics or sweaters.

Great pant but sizing inconsistent
The first pair I bought was perfect. The waist was nice and high and the material thick enough to form a smooth line. It was fitted in the thighs which I also love. (I wish EF would make more like this.) I loved it so much I purchased two more. I tried on the second pair and it was also perfect. Sadly (I already tore the tags off) tI didn't try on the third pair until later. Although it is supposedly the same style, the waist is a couple of inches shorter (an unflattering mid rise) and the cut is baggy through the thighs, giving it a dowdy look. I will try again but I am bummed that I am stuck with this pair. The first two were truly the perfect pant ever!

My favorite material
This is my favorite material in EF pants and I'm disappointed that it may no longer be available. These are slim fitting and go with any top. I love them and I'm glad I was able to purchase them before they are no longer available!

Highly recommend!
I normal wear the lighter wieght pants from Eileen, however I needed something that was a bit warmer and tighter to my leg. These are a great fit and I love the hand of the fabric!

I would like to buy another pair of these pants but unfortunately you are out of my size. Are you going to make this style in the Italian fabric again? I have this style in the other fabric (viscose, nylon and spandex) but I do not like that fabric as well so I do not wear it.

nice fit
I like the fit of these pants so I gave them a 5 star review. However I have this same pant in a different fabric (the Italian fabric) which I like much better. The fabric of this ponte slim pant is a combination of viscose, nylon and spandex. This fabric is heavier and not as comfortable as my ponte slim pant made of the Italian fabric. Unfortunately the pant in the Italian fabric is not available on your website in my size. Please bring the Italian fabric back. Thanks

Comfortable and polished.
These pants look and feel great. The fabric is substantial and retains its shape. I like to wear them with longer tops and tunics and like that they do not look like leggings.

Wrong fit for me
Slim Ponte Pant did not fit me. They were too tight in the hip and seat areas. Nice fabric just the wrong cut for me. They were also long enough - not ankle length. I am 5'7" and bought a medium which is the right size for me.

Beautiful, but needed adjustments
I ended up returning these, but only because I found them for a better price. They are GREAT pants -- the only reason for four stars is that they are cut for short waisted people. I followed other reviewers' advice and carefully cut the waist from the ties that kept it folded, and unfolded it. That gave me another inch of length, and it was much more comfortable.

Nice more substantial alternative to leggings
Nice weight to these but they fit me a bit like leggings, even going a size larger than I usually take in EF. I’ve got muscular calves so be warned if you do as well. In the end, I decided to keep these since they are great tucked into boots.

Slim Ponte Pants
These pants are wonderful. The material is comfortable and the cut is flattering. They can be dressed up or down. A great wardrobe staple that will last for years.

Baggy knees
Wore them one day and the knees were bagging out. This ponte is not as thick or resilient as in the past. The fit is good and the waistband has been improved.

Something has changed.
I have about a dozen EF pant and at least 3 pairs of these ponte slim pants . This last pair is too tight in the calf and the rise is too low. They keep sliding down. These were my go to pants not sure what I am going to do in future.

Nearly as good as your older pants
Almost what I've looked for in pants for 10 years: your older version (with leg zippers) was made with a heavier fabric that really keeps legs warm and looks great. I would wear my 2 aging pairs every day if I could. These newer ones will be good for dressing up but the older ones are still the best.
