Nice design, disappointing fabric.
This was my first EF purchase. I've been looking for the "perfect" white shirt for a long time and unfortunately this isn't it. I do love everything about it except for the fabric, which is much thinner/flimsy than I expected. You definitely need a tank or camisole underneath it because it's transparent. And, I'm wondering how it will stand up over many washes. For how much $$ I paid I am pretty disappointed.

The perfect white shirt. Classic style and fit. Material that drapes. It is slightly sheer, but this adds to the sophisticated look. A camisole or tan bra looks beautiful.

Long Sleeve White Button Down Shirt with Collar
I love this shirt. I have three of them! Great dressed up or down. Wash beautiful. Wish there were more colors although I can make the white look different with accessories, sweaters etc. wear them all year round.

COMPLETELY SEE THROUGH
I should have believed the review that said this blouse is completely see through because it is! YOU CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH IT! It's like seeing through wet tissue paper! I think if my bra label was sticking out someone could have read the size! Not even a camisole can help it. Come on EF, you can do better!

Perfect shirt

Favourite shirt
I am surprised the see some negative reviews. I wear this shirt constantly under round neck sweaters and cardigans. The collar is cute sticking out and the shirt is so soft, like an under layer should be. I wish you still had small and I would get a second one, for when mine is in the wash.

Useful but not exciting
This top has proven useful on a number of occasions but it's hard to get too excited about it, particularly for the price. It's pretty much a basic white top in a jersey knit. The material is on the thin side and the top could use a little more shape

I bought two sizes and still need to go up one size because of the buttons pulling on my chest. It is not uncommon for buttons to pull in that location. I usually wear a small but also tried the medium which is almost large enough but not quite. The fabric is silky and a little sheer so the larger size draped nice and was not baggy. This is a classic style in a dressier fabric that would be very versatile and cool enough for summer.

I have two!
Just bought a second one or these shirts. So soft and comfy! It’s my go to when I don’t know what to wear. I wear it alone or underneath sweaters. I like the bit of stretch because it moves with me.

Refunds take forever!
I returned this shirt immediately and just got my refund today. EF is terrible at managing refunds. So much better to buy EF clothes at other stores if you think you might have to return them.

Nice fit but fabric is too thin.
I wish this shirt was made of material that had more substance. It is too thin and looks was if it will easily crease. It is not opaque enough to feel comfortable as a stand alone but may work under a sweater or jacket. The fit was perfect, but I returned it.

This shirt is soft and looks great. Easy to wear. Usually put a tank under it, but it's fine with a nude bra as well. I keep pulling it out of my closet to put on in the morning as soon as it's clean. Works for work or casual weekend. Easy care.

A Perfect Shirt
I buy at least one of this shirt every year and have a row of them in my closet, including in black! It's as comfortable as a t-shirt but is more stylish and complements all the different necklines of my sweaters and jumpers and looks great with jeans or nice pants. I like the size and shape of the collar and the slim cuff with a button. Care is simple: machine wash, hang to dry (sometimes I toss it in the dryer), and wear. The fabric lasts for years without yellowing.

Absolutely gorgeous shirt
This shirt is gorgeous. It is so soft and well made with perfect details. I bought a tank to go under it since it is slightly sheer. I can see this as my go to shirt because it is so much more comfortable than a typical linen or cotton shirt. I ordered several tops on sale and I can tell that this will be my favorite because it is both a classic shirt and so comfortable..

A Winner for Sure
An easy shirt that is tailored for today’s active demands. Beautiful fabric, gorgeous mother-of-pearl buttons, nicely sized so front opening doesn’t pop open at the bust. The knit provides some stretch, and the cotton feels great against the skin. I like the traditional styling with the nice collar. Good for now or to put under sweaters or blazers in the fall. A winner for sure, and I am picky.
