Have your cake and eat it too: comfort with polish
A useful unlined jacket that adds a bit of formal edge without going too structured; works well with pants in the same fabric. Love the fit: the high-cut armholes have a slimming effect, standup collar is more feminine, fingertip length works well with pants, nice fit in shoulders, stretch fabric adds ease and I like to wash on gentle and hang to dry, no more dry cleaning ... I liked it so much that I order a second one!

I wanted to love it but it wasn't the one!
I actually returned this piece. I have an Eileen Fisher light weight jacket that I have had >10 years. I LOVE it. My travel packing always starts with this piece as it looks good, is light weight, and has a lovely cut. I haven't been able to find it and I need to because mine is beginning to show it's age. PLEASE HELP ME EILEEN FISHER.

Professional, classy, comfortable and washable!
Super comfortable. I like the length. I also like that the arm length is short because I often have to tailor suit jacket arms. I got this in petite to avoid that and it worked. It’s a conservative cut but that is what I am going for.

Washable or Dry Clean??
When I bought this, the exterior tag clearly said "washable." In big letters. It's time to "wash" it and to my great surprise, the small sewn in label says "Dry Clean Only."
I never buy stuff for everyday wear that's "dry clean only" and I wouldn't have bought this had I known. You dropped the ball this time, EF.

It's not the way I expected!!!
I liked its color, but I did not like its material which is too soft. They should make its collar thicker to make it stay in place. This jacket did not look good on me so I decided to return it.

Versatility with elegance
This jacket fits just as it should, and is so well made that it can be easily worn up or down. I was recently photographed outdoors, using safe distance, for a National paper. I wondered what to wear in the snow that would not be the typical winter coat, and used this jacket over an EF top with boots. The photographer complimented me on the jacket!

Nice Style, but Wrinkled and Not Washable
I bought this jacket a few months ago. It's a beautiful color and drape, and goes well with the Eileen Fisher Zinc crepe pants that I already owned. I love the weight of the fabric and the pocket placement. The jacket was very wrinkled out of the package, though, and the wrinkles never really went away -- despite the fact that I hung it in a humid bathroom for a few days. The wrinkles are very obvious on such a light color. And, unlike the tag, "Washable Crepe" and unlike the Zinc crepe pants, this item is Dry Clean Only. I am hoping that once I dry clean, the wrinkles will be completely gone. Despite those drawbacks, I'm still giving it a "4" because it is a beautiful jacket.

First blazer in 20 years
I got this jacket in zinc to go with the washable crepe pants and wide ribbed tunic, both in zinc. After 20 years of being 'stay at home' mom I needed a decent lightweight, casual blazer for work. The only caveat is the fact it must be dry cleaned so, can't wear it while doing my hobby job of making eclectic scents from oils. It says 'washable crepe' but, the tag on the jacket says 'dry clean only' and it does wrinkle a bit. I can't wait to wear it although, probably won't until next spring, just depends. It gets cold where we live. I got it in size petite small. For reference, I'm 36-C, 5'4", right on the regular/petite mark of 'unknown'. So happy to have found this nice piece to wear over and over.
