Layering for warmth
A very useful layering top. It’s very thin and keeps one warm. I find myself reaching for this and the others I have again and again. I wear this under shirts and sweaters.

Perfect Casual Silk Tee
I love this. In most brands I am a medium but I took a petite small in this and it’s perfect- not too long or big. It drapes nicely, and it’s light but it also keeps me warm. Please make more silk pieces!

Silk jersey top
Beautiful top, love the higher neckline and the longer length. Drapes very nicely, true to size. FYI 158 pounds, 5’6”, size medium fits perfectly. Silk jersey is a wonderful material, wears and washes very well, wish EF will keep making more tops, more colors with it. Have not been brave enough to try pants in silk jersey, though think they probably would look good on a thin person.

I did not know what to expect when I selected this top. Sometimes I wear EF size L and sometimes XL. After reading reviews, I chose size XL thinking that perhaps it would fit closer to the body and I would need a larger size. I was surprised to find that I could have easily worn a size L, but the XL is beautifully generous and loose and hangs gracefully on me. I am very happy with this top in the size I selected. For size reference: 38DD, 43" hips, 5'6".
The silk fabric is very lightweight and soft. It is not transparent, but is thinner than what I expected and has a slinky drape.
I love the long sleeves (...loose fit at the wrist!) , drop shoulders, and high crew neckline. The length is below my waist, but not tunic length, which is nice. It is difficult to find EF silk tops with long sleeves. So often, I see a top that would be perfect for me, but it is sleeveless (!), which doesn't work for me. Overall, this top is beautiful and I'm very happy. It will be nice with velvet, or peaking out from underneath a sweater...or worn under a loose jacket.

Dropped shoulders
I have a number of the stretch silk long sleeve T's from previous years and love them, as they are perfect for adding a warm layer or dressing up a jacket. So I was disappointed in this new style because of the dropped shoulders (add bulk to sleeves), the more casual neck, and the slightly boxier fit.

Pretty pink Stretch Silk Jersey Crew Neck Top
This is a very pretty top. the neck is different from Eileen's other jersey tops, but it lays flat and close to the neck. I bought it in pink and I love it. I wasn't so sure about the drop shoulder, but it works well either with a jacket or under a jumper.

My winter favorite tee
I bought the forest (a beautiful dark green for someone not crazy about green), dark brownstone (a rich dark burgundy close to casis), and black. 27” in front is my favorite length...long, but not sloppy. Definitely loose fitting. I have old ones that are still great. Machine wash and hang for a quick dry. I wear these as an under layer for sweaters and jackets. Cool and flowing. At this price I reordered another black. Absolutely love the material, colors, length, and sale price.

The Black Silk Jersey Crew Neck Top is a wardrobe staple worth every penny to acquire. It wears comfortably in all conditions. Sweaters and vests glide over the top in cooler temperatures while it keeps me comfortable on warm days. The 27 inches are a god send on my nearly 5'9" frame. Many EF tops are too short for my long torso. The System Viscose Jersey at 24.5" is useless to me. But the Silk Jersey works with everything from jeans to skirts. It washes easily, dries quickly and sheds wrinkles making this an ideal travel companion. I am currently styling this with the Merino Pencil Skirt in Regenerative Wool. I can tuck it in & add the EF Obi belt or I can leave it out casually 'as is', or style it with the skinny leather wrap belt. I have this silk tee from previous years in Midnight and Brown (which happens to coordinate with the wool pencil skirt in Deep Brownstone.). Both older tees look as good today as when I bought them. This year's version has a wider collar on the crew neck. I personally prefer the more delicate detail of years past but wouldn't hesitate to purchase the current version. I would love to see this become a year round offering in additional colors. For reference I am about 5'9", 160-ish, 36B. My usually EF size small fits generously.

Too long in petite
I love Eileen Fisher's stretch silk and have it in 2 turtlenecks, 2 short-sleeve tees, and an invaluable scoop neck long sleeve top, which I have been hoping to see appear again. (I wear it all the time and it has held up incredibly well, but I would like to own a backup.) This year you had a v-neck, but it was too long. I decided to try this crew neck but just like the v-neck, it was too long in petite, which is why I am returning it and can give it only 3 stars. At 5'3", I am borderline petite but both these tops were almost 3" longer than the ones I already own. I would shorten it, but my seamstress felt she didn't have the proper stretchy thread. Please give us petite lengths in petite sizes, and please consider offering a scoop neck long sleeve in black again. These are my favorite tops!

Love these tops. I agree they run a smidge smaller than what is typical for Eileen Fisher- maybe a half size. I ordered a size up and like the slightly roomy fit. Very soft. I’ll wear the light weight fabric in many seasons.

Awesome crew neck silk tops
Whoopee: Thanks, Eileen Fisher, for providing a longer crew neck silk. I will be able to wear my green top and my brown top year-round as single pieces and also layered with other tops. After recent years of lower necklines, I am ready for these longer crew neck silks. I hope you will offer these silk tops next Fall.

LOVE These Silk Crewneck Tops
I purchased this top in the forest night color to got with my forest night rain jacket and scarf. I LOVE these tops. The material is divine, the fit was spot on and the care is so simple. I highly recommend in the color of your choosing. I purchased it at a sale price. So the value was excellent.

Nice warm weather top
The fabric is thin, which makes it a garment best suited for warm weather. Since it is a 'winter' color, wear a camisole under it if you want to wear it in cooler weather.

A treasure to own
This silk knit is very comfortable to wear because it stretches in any direction. It allows your skin to breathe in hot climates yet keeps you warm as a layered piece in cold weather. I bought the forest green on sale and am pleased it goes with so many other EF colors. This is an expensive fabric (for me) so I jump when I can find this on sale.

It feels wonderful!
Very roomy, I took an xl to wear loose.
My only complaint besides price, was the pink is a very unflattering color.
Like a blush with very little color to it.
It looks like a washed out color.

The Great Silk Jersey Crew Neck Returns...
So happy to see this again. I tried this on in the lovely dark green. Was hesitant at first due to different styling...drop shoulders, turned over wider neckline, but it did not disappoint. I sized down. The neckline laid flat to wear with jewelry and the dropped shoulders were a nicely done design addition. Will get the matching dark green silk jersey cardigan also to make a great set. Same fabric as before. Need to get the top in another color. Thanks for listening to us, EF designers.

Another great silk knit piece!
Comfortable and versatile. Excellent for travel, never wrinkles. Dress up or dress down. My usual EF size fit well. I usually wear the silk jersey tops under a jacket or cardi. Would love to see you bring back some of these tops (especially in white and ivory) in double layered silk so they have more body and are not see-through or revealing of less than perfect body contours.
