Beautiful fabric but cheap elastic waist
The material feels and looks fantastic. Construction looks good at seams and hem. I did not realize it had a dinky 3/8” elastic waist (like you would do in a beginner diy sewing project) that needs to be covered by something else - you can’t wear a shorter top or tuck anything into it. My similar skirt from Jcrew solved this problem with a very thick elastic waistband that sits flat in the front and only gathers in the back, which looks way more polished. I am going to take this to a tailor to see if they can fix it for me because exchanging with EF is a nightmare.

Beautiful Skirt

Bias skirt review
It shows underwear lines no matter what I try with it. Gets static cling very badly. I haven't even worn it yet, I've just tried it on. I think I should have returned it when I could have. I like the color nocturne, the length but that's about it. Its not as swingy as the picture shows either.

Love the Skirt But It Is Totally Unlined
For me, this skirt is amazing. Great silk, love the color (almond) - BUT - how has no one mentioned it is unlined? It is a medium weight silk charmeuse and is unlined. Plan shapewear accordingly. I love this garment, but for some this may be a no-go.
